Cuisineer is one of these long lasting games that mix action and simulation a little similar to Cult of the Lamb. But instead of leading a cult you're managing a restaurant. To gather materials or ingredients, you go into one of the different dungeons and beat different types of enemies that drop their own ingredient. You can also destroy plants or rocks to gather materials. You can put the ingredients in your fridge and the materials in you chest. If you need them, you automatically take them out of these storages. So for the cooking part, you basically just click and pick the receipt and if you have enough ingredients, it automatically cooks. The recourses are similar, you use them to upgrade your equipment, your restaurant space or to buy new furniture.
The only thing where you don't get materials automatically is, when one of the many npc ask for these items.
Overall a good game to kill some time.
