The AI one looks like someone just used a filter on the photo and called it a day. Your drawing took skill and effort to make.

your drawing actually has life, the AI just replicated real life with no substance

as the AI obviously cant quite campete with artistic skill and stylization im still impressed by how good it mimics a semi-realistic art style

The artist always wins. There’s nothin like seeing a human being put time and effort into their craft. Plus it's not fair to call AI art the same as what humans make. Truthfully, anything can be art, because there are many different forms of it. LIke pottery, sculpting etc. But I find it disrespectfull when people say AI is the same as human creativity. It is a different form of art that is completely different with how humans create. It is the same as hand-made goods that are compared to factory materials, they simply aren't the same.

The AI can't make such conscious artistic choices like changing, exaggerating proportions, facial expressions, colors, lighting etc to make them more appealing / interesting than they were in the original photo.

The real artist always wins

Ai in my opinion could NEVER replace what a person can create! So much more life can be seen in the drawing! 🤩🤩

The thing with A.I. art is that it misses a human touch that makes art so beautiful in my opinion.

The thing that A.I. art lacks, is creativity.

Skipped to the end to make things fair (I do not like AI), and I decided the bottom one looked better. It’s more expressive, has less mistakes, and a more visually interesting background.

The AI one looks like a sick filter though.
