A good follow-up to this theory would be "cures" to brain freeze, curling the tongue, the thumb method, sipping a non frozen drink, breathing into your hands. Which ones work and are most effective at completely eliminating them and which act the fastest.

The point that most people aren't affected by "brain freeze" cleared up a lot of initial confusion, because my forehead doesn't ache when eating cold things. I always thought people were referring to the cold sensation in the back of the roof of the mouth, which is where I feel it.

I wish this channel had a massive budget so you could get an MRI while having a brain freeze and see if anything is different

MatPat, in case no one has said it: I use brain freezes to "cure" my migraines. I'm super miserable for like 3 minutes but then the brain freeze "thaws" and the migraine is gone.
