  • For any new players, the best standard load out you can have for bugs (with no premium warbonds unlocked) is: Primary: Breaker (shotgun), Punisher (shotgun), or Defender (SMG) Secondary: Redeemer (Automatic pistol) Grenade: Impact Support Weapon: Flamethrower (you can also bring EATs for bile titans if you prefer) Backpack: Shield Generator The rest is up to you. Light and medium armor is your best bet for bugs. The best armor passives for bugs in no particular order are Scout, Engineering Kit, Medic Kit, and Extra Padding. All other passives can be used but are generally not as effective as these three. If you come close to dying often, medic armor is your best bet.

I recently started running medium armor and immediately discovered that what used to be a deadly combo from the bugs was now way more survivable.
  • One other thing I would also recommend is prioritizing the scavengers first (the tiniest and weakest of the bunch) in the lower difficulties (in Helldive it doesn't matter) because they are the ones that cause bug breach signaling. If you are the type to fight a group of enemies until all of them are gone, but enemies just keep coming, this is a very useful thing to utilize.
  • Great advice overall. Kiting mobs around unbreakable and unclimbable level geometry is key too. They’re inclined to beeline towards you and tightening their groups makes AoE munitions more effective and turrets/divers around a corner spend less time aiming at their next target.

So cool to see everyone sharing what they've learned, what they've seen and how they are solving different situations. I love HD2!!!
  • 6:01 only found out recently, but you can parry their death-charge with a simple melee attack. They'll flinch significantly only to then almost always finish bleeding out. Pretty sure you can also cancel an enemy Hunter's pounce attack that way as well, but that seems a lot more finicky than the other move. With the Broodcommanders I manage it basically every time.

You can 1 shot bile titans with orbital precision strike Lower call in time makes it more consistent and low cooldown

I mainly do SOS diving, and I always run with this loadout: Med armor, DemPro JAR-5, P-19 both on semi fire, impact grenades. Impact incendiary is being considered but I don’t like it for the situations I use them in. Autocannon, 500kg, orbitlaser and of course, the Emancipator. The orbit laser is used for defending or clearing out swarms at objectives, and thus used sparingly - if one can clear one of the objectives without using it, it’s better as it can be used for other things. Preferably saving one for extraction time. The Emancipator is called in ASAP as soon as one lands, and the second at extraction. Makes the first few minutes of the mission easier for everyone else, and even better if you can have a low level player pilot it, preferably players whose levels are below level 10-15. Same deal when extraction time comes.

My first video with you .. damn good stuff and lots of it. Similar to all the great info vids, we need to save and re watch to ensure we have gotten all the goodies shared with us. One of my favorite things you did was overlap (kinda sorta) a couple points you had already made, which made them sink in all the more in the 300mm barage of info we just got. I just subbed and am siked to see what you think of to share next. Go with your instincts and mostly ignore the shyte. You build it and we will come. High five to a well articulated and edited video. We just acquired many tools, tips, and strats to help us see the game better as to freak tf out less and achieve high levels of awesomeness.... We have to like comment and share this cat, heez in the right head space for us..... now for the rewatch

The reason the regular autocannon can't damage the bile titan face is because it doesn't have enough armour pen
  • @smellycat57
I really like using the original oribital precision strike to kill bile titan. it's low cooldown, effective, and frees my eagles for cc. This is a great guide for the bugs, btw. been enjoying fighting the bots so much that I needed a refresher for these guys, lmao
  • @inklead7561
Wouldn’t it be awesome if we got a stratagem who’s job is simply to attract bugs to it? That could organise the chaos a little bit, help you make other stratagems more effective or at least give you a chance to do whatever you need to do
  • @P3trarch
Great advice! Thank you for the video.
  • @nicbarrax76
From someone who has no issues whatsoever with automatons but hates the Nids, thank you! 😄 Gonna try these tips out and spread democracy to the insects too now!
  • @Auras101
Gas strat is so underrated with short cool down. Throw that bad boy on a bug breach and get an easy 50 kills teamed with the gatlin sentry. Always top of the kill with little effort. Regularly get 650 kills with this load out
  • @Smood47
Nice to see some builds that don't have incindiery breaker
  • Amazing breakdown. Very detailed but no pointless yapping for thirty minutes. I usually take the blitzer shotgun for the sake of knockback on the brood commanders and armor piercing on hive guards. Don’t know how it performs against spewers since oddly enough I haven’t seen one since I bought cutting edge. Titans are definitely low priority targets since the are easy to avoid if you have a clear path to escape, and they can clear the horde for you with the spit attack. Sometimes if you run to the side before they spit you can get them to destroy their leg with the acid due to the angle they’re shooting at. Sadly aside from heavy AT weaponry and the occasional Gacrux foliage, there’s not many foolproof ways of killing them When it comes to heavy AT weapons though, Commando is top tier at dealing with titans and chargers, and adding the EAT into your strat loadout alongside makes you an absolute heavy killer. Then I usually bring two crowd control stratagems like gas and napalm strike simply to eliminate hunters from bug breaches. If one does get close I take the redeemer because blitzer targeting is scuffed on enemies that are right in front of you

The only bug build I have found with very few weaknesses is: Peak Physique Light Armour Dominator Redeemer Incendiary Impact Orbital Precision/500kg Eagle Airstrike Guard Dog Rover Commando
