Can This El Camino Be Saved? Copart Walk Around - 7/26/24

Published 2024-07-26
In this video, I'll show you a 1972 Chevy El Camino with some pretty expensive repairs needed. But the question is, can this classic be saved?? I'll try to give her a start and see if the ole' gal wants to get back on the road. Then I'll show you a 2013 Mazda Speed 3 with a little damage. Finally a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace with some bolt-on parts needed. This wouldn't be too extensive to fix!

I can feel the passion behind every brushstroke of paint. This isn't just a restoration; it's a labor of love.
  • Love the El Camino . Had a Ford Ranchero back in the day and loved it
  • The elcamino is definitely repairable. It won't be cheap but worth it. I'm not convinced it's a real ss

I had a 72 el camino and I loved it and I would love to see that on the channel
  • Mike that Jag that you were liking so well,I noticed the steering wheel was turned slightly to the right but the front tire at 16:22 was turned to the left! The El Camino would need a LOT of love!!
  • The missing trim is in the truck bed of the el amino. The time clock does not work. Tail light is available as is the old school steering wheel, new or used. Hood springs available, buy new or used. Have a body shop do the rear. The car wonโ€™t go cheap.
  • I love the walk around videos and my favorite vehicle in this video was the 1972 El Camino SS

  • An El Camino is allways worth saving! Go for it, Mike! Here in Germany are some crazy guys who made an El Camino like E-class. Maybe an option for you as well.....๐Ÿ˜

The El Camino would be nice to have. While there is no way you'd get your money back after the extensive bodywork it needs, it would just be a shame to see that one go to a scrapyard.
