Keep in mind that Tynamo Community Day happens during this event which means the 4x catch xp will apply on com day. So it might actually be worth playing if you want to grind xp.

I’m contemplating just going into NYC on lucario raid day and raiding like a fiend with lucky eggs to hit level 50 (I hit 49 during NYC gofest and I’m at 17 million exp out of 30 mill right now) I enjoy raiding, I love lucario, and I have nothing better to do that day. I have a hundo lucario maxed out, but the xl candy with the pass will be super helpful.

I swear the hate for Party Play feels so forced. Its a fun feature when playing with friends for small bonuses and faster raids and it's cool to see the other trainers on your screen.
