I love how Elon doesn’t have a candid answer for everything. He knows his stuff, but he doesn’t explain it too often. When he’s asked to explain something, you can see him actually formulating his answer. Awesome guy!

He’s right. As a former submariner when there was a storm on the surface we just dove underwater if it was too rough and we were in deep enough water. If the storm was really rough we could still feel it at 300ft. So we just dove deeper and everything was stable again.

Facts! I spent 10 years on fast attack subs. The one time we were in a battle group, surface transiting, a monsoon was headed toward us near Guam. We heard all the surface ships calling out to rig their ships, we just rigged for dive, the up the deuce and went deep. Didn't feel a thing. 😂

He's younger here and this is his first major project I believe. This has been done a long time and he's right he's always been right. For the US government to work out and also to get all the paperwork right which is really the worst part. That and itself is genius, that's why he's where he is. High risk takers get, high risk rewards!!

very true, I was 200 feet below the surface in a mine during an earthquake in Barstow California and could hear it, but felt nothing, my friend stayed on the surface and said the truck was swaying and thought we died
