Damn this guy just gets it. I'll never forget the 80"s.
-
Oh my God, I was 12 years old when I bought this great album from pocket money myself, now I'm 53 years old, this album, this song I just can't get enough, it seizes me emotionally like the first time, thank you Bruce, for your great music, you've been accompanying me for 41 years now 🫵♥️♥️♥️✌️👍🤘🙏🇩🇪

His songs are like movies for your ears.❤

Reminds me of the little town I lived in back in the 70's... Times we're different back then.... A simpler time
-
I still remember the streets of my hometown, I could walk them blindfolded.
-
God, never been a huge Springsteen fan, he just crushed this album… one of the very best albums of all time by far

Reminds me of being a little kid in the 80s. Great memories growing up in my little hometown. My grandparents were all still alive, my mom was still alive, had some great friends, had no worries or concerns, just having fun enjoying life each day. Older now with my own kids, my grandparents are all gone, mom is gone, friends gone, but still enjoying life being a father and husband.

Reminds me of a poor Pennsylvania small town. Just like the one i grew up in.

I listen to this because I never had a hometown. We just kept moving, my dad chasing dreams . . . I envy all of you who had a hometown. Whose dad said "take a good look around; this is your hometown." That must be the best thing. Even if it's all boarded up now and everything. It's still was your hometown. Don't take that for granted. I guess the USA is my hometown.

Voice of humanity. Long live Bruce
-
I miss music like this.
-
Reminds me of being with my grandfather. Brings me back to a simpler time. Living out in China, Texas growing up.

I love this song for a lot of reasons. Never really had a home town but lived in certain small towns and smaller city's where nobody knew me or recognized me. It was always who are you and where you from. Of course I always had a remark to hopefully have a prayer the next day. The remark usually caused a fight to break out. Never really could make a friend being a new face. But I hope one of the guys I was at odds with in any of these certain city's will invite me back there one day for a cold brewski.

I remember my hometown. Does it remember me? I left America for Asia. A better life. YES BETTER, Quality of life is not what you own. It's in the peace you feel in your life. The fulfilment and pride. Pride is not a flag. Pride can't be pushed on someone. Pride is born inside. From a way of life pure and simple. Lost in today's America.

Chicago, IL has been my hometown since 1988!!!!!

This is the first song I had heard that made me emotional because it felt like he was talking about my life.
-
I think the whole "Born in the USA" record can be deemed as the soundtrack of any American lives. It really does incorporate certain feelings that only in the USA can be felt.
