Elon is a great interviewer. He really let Jordan speak without interrupting.

So next time when you or anyone around you as an introvert is constantly interrupted and you seem to be in a awkward position, remember Elon goes through the same

Never seen Jordan Peterson so lit up. This has definetly been one of the Most Anticipated Interviews of All Times.

This is the first time I've seen Jordan trying to win the approval of someone about his ideas and philosophy. It seemed he was just overly excited to share his thoughts and ideas to someone he thinks could actually critique it

"Having a child is the most optimistic thing you can do." - Elon
  • It's not an interview it's a conversation between two people trying to find a common ground in ideologies and share their perspective and that is better than an interview.

This isn’t an interview. This is JP turning into a 12yo because he just met someone he is a fan of and/or respect and he is super eager to learn from him as well wants to impress him with the stuff he’s been doing. We’re super lucky that we can virtually be in this room of conversation to see what crumbs of information falls from the table for us to grab. Say thank you and stop complaining. This is the type of thing that happens behind closed doors. Be grateful that we are allowed to listen to the conversation and discuss your thoughts about the topics handled.

I find something endearing that otherwise annoys me. When Jordan Peterson lectures, I love listening to him process his thoughts. Same when he is on a panel. When he is interviewing, I would really like to see his ability to draw out a person and let them shine. When talking to Elon Musk like this, I think, he was so excited to get to run his ideas and update them with Musk’s perspective, as well as Test musk approval or disapproval, that he spent too much of the interview talking and should have listened more. Elon is a man who seems to be an introvert who thinks very carefully and needs silence to speak his mind. But I think Peterson sperged out a little and I find myself appreciative of the fact that I would have freaked out and talked a lot, too. Super powerful moment talking about Elon’s son, and how truly horrible “dead naming” is as an idea.

Jordan was so fired up. Almost like a night out with an 8ball…… you can tell he was stoked
  • This is the first time I've seen Jordan nervous - I imagine he usually has the highest IQ in the room, and now feels like a mere mortal sat in front of Musk.

As others have stated in the comments; If Dr. Peterson watches this he would wish he had given Elon Musk way more time to answer and ask him one at a time. I would rather him have asked 50% less questions but heard well fleshed out answers.
  • Jordan Peterson: there’s a golden thread of conversation that constitutes the basis for humanities education. It’s run across centuries. In principal that concentrates on ideas that have been winnowed, probably through a quasi-evolutionary process across large spans of time Elon Musk: Yeah
  • @billeebrady6108
As an introvert, I think Jordan Peterson is sitting too close. 😂
  • @camtheman3x6
Just Ironman and Dr. Strange having a normal conversation
  • All conversations don’t have to be a perfect example of etiquette, and politeness. Sometimes a clash in style can give the audience many more views from so many different perspectives
  • @andreabell5724
Elon pauses when he speaks- this isn’t an invitation to more questions, Jordan 😂
  • @us_tripping
Honestly Jordan is a way better guest than a host.
  • @jdbergan
I commend Elon with being able to comprehend Jordan's questions in one take because i have to rewind three times to half understand.
