  • As a person who comes from a place in the US where the public schools actually have better education than many of the local private schools, this is actually the accurate expectation me and all my public school vets have about private school. We think since it’s funded by parents and tuition that the private schools are super posh
  • I hate how people say that people who go to private schools are wealthy and get AMAZING test scores and get first class cuz honestly I got to a private school and to be honest to you we live in a 100 year old house I don’t study at all I get horrible test results ( mostly luck ) and we go in the same planes EVERONE else does no some of my friends live in like 3 year old houses ( we might move soon but that doesn’t change the point ) and maybe they study more than I do 😂 but I go to a private school and NONE of those apply to me stop setting such high standards for a stupid kid

As someone who goes to a private school in massachusetts, i consider this a win.

I went to a private school, only thing that I could think of is, You guys have a gymnasium? My gymnasium was called the outdoors on a 100 degree day
  • @Bynumite1
Then I wonder where the money goes? Obviously not just to the pockets of the principal

My school is kinda the expectation one bc it’s rlly fancy except for the background of the class and TONS of celebrity kids go there (including me)
  • @TheMadderlad
As a private school student I can confirm that this is true.
  • @Geitungur
Inaccurate: no private school teacher can pronounce a name with a Y in it that well

In my private school the water fountains were closed for a year because I'm pretty sure they found something in it and also because of cholera 😅
  • I go to religious private Montessori school and it’s- horrible but also okay in certain parts Pros: - Montessori! No sitting at desks, no homework, learning with materials instead of just being taught it out loud and having to do it in our head/with a calculator! - It’s close to my house, this is just a pro for me but it’s still a pro! Doesn’t relate to anything else tbh. - It’s Daycare - 6th Grade, which means I get to see tiny children almost everyday, like LITTLE kids who are hella adorable! - Less bullying, less doesn’t mean none though- - We learn at our own pace! Cons: - Bunch of kids who are highly conservative and Christian, they think LGBTQ+ people are going to hell- - Kids at mine are ruder - We only have 3 rooms we go into; our class, the gym, the restroom. Which gets annoying because the only quiet place we have is the restroom. - The class is very loud because we get pulled into lessons, rather then the whole class getting taught one lesson, so that leaves room for kids to talk to each other, which gets very loud. - The kids at mine seem to hate me for no reason 🙃 - We have uniforms. - The kids at mine think that Alternative styles are bad, not like, ugly, but like BAD- - Most hate mainstream artists (Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, etc.) - We are required to use cursive for finished work (for notes it doesn’t matter) - We don’t get educated enough on mental health __________________________________________ So yeah- don’t really enjoy it that much, glad it’s my last year, hope I’m going to our public school next year 🤞
