Congress Leader Gaurav Gogoi Slams PM Modi For Ignoring Manipur MPs: "PM Ignored Manipur MPs"

Ahead of Parliament Session, Congress leaders Gaurav Gogoi and Praniti Shinde slammed PM Modi in a media briefing at Vijay Chowk, New Delhi on July 3. "Congress' demand was to give opportunity to the MPs of Manipur to speak in the Parliament. We just requested for 2 minutes for Manipur MPs but unfortunately we didn't get those 2 minutes and he went on taunting us," said Gogoi. "He spoke for 2 hours but he didn't speak on Manipur once but towards the end he blamed us. If he can offer water to an Opposition MP, why couldn't he give time to Manipur MPs?," he said.

"INDIA Alliance stands with Manipur. We requested Speaker sir for 60 seconds but they denied us the permission. PM Modi didn't even mention Manipur in his speech. How hardened can you be? at the end, only the PM and speaker speaking towards the end," said Praniti Shinde." When you are a Prime Minister you are accountable for all the atrocities," said Praniti criticising PM Modi for his lack of empathy towards Manipur.
