Wanted to take off the seat belt just to clean em but after watching the who process, I ended up deciding to chuck the whole car in the dishwasher 🥺🤷‍♂️

Thanks, saved me hundreds just to do that. £230 for belt and £60 for fitting. I paid £27 for belt, fitted it myself after watching this. Fantastic!

Cool, this pillar cover removal seems fairly universal for most vehicles, also useful for accessing door panel speaker wires.

Thanks for this video, it saved me when couldn't figure out how to get that electronic clip thing off.
  • @Faris0802
Great job! makes it look so easy but tricky to do
  • Hi mate. Do I have to disconnect the main battery only or also the battery in the boot? Also do I have to disconnect the airbag or will disconnecting the battery be enough?
  • @orthorad60

  • @Joes432
can you feed the seatbelt through the trim panel or do we have to ship that as well?
  • @gordonsweep
that yellow pin that you disconnected it, is it for the airbag ??? and if it is did you disconnect the battery before ??? or can it be done without disconnecting the battery ???please and thank you
  • Do you have a link to a video of taking off c pillars or seat belts in general at the front for a 2004 honda accord coupe?
  • @timpye6162
2ohms good to know that, thanks. The plug I disconnected has 8 pins. So I gues 6 of those are 2 each for each of the seat belts. THe other 2, what could they be..active (12V)and neutral perhaps? What do you reckon.

Do you have to disconnect the battery before you undo the airbag clip on the seat belt? I have to replace the seat belt height adjuster on the passenger side of my 2014 Sequoia. I bought an OEM part and found you on you tube. I am not sure if I need to even mess with the air bag plug. I think I just need to pop off the panels and unbolt the seat belt and fed it into the new seat belt height adjustor. I think...any advice?

What is the name of the plastic outer covering you popped off to get at the belt? Mine is cracked and needs to be replaced. Thanks
  • @dickieradd
Cool. Now that you've covered the easy basic monkey steps, how do we fix the interior of the belt pretension and locking system?
  • @7minnow
Can you have the seatbelt Buckle deploy to, an the Retractor? Thanks
  • @dillonyoung8830
Do u know how to put back that cover? Mine keeps hanging and won’t replace

I took the rear seat out of my 2019 Toyota Hiace Crew (without disconnecting the battery). I have a dash warning "airbag system malfunction". Is there a way to "dongle" or short the seat belt sensor harness (only to the rear seat). I believe I have to get toyota to clear the codes of the malfunction. I want the seat permanently out or at least the option to have it out for camping AND have my front airbags working.
