The difference is the OL play. The college game has become more pass pro and more spread. These OL arent developing like they were back then.

Im 47 and the reason RBs get trade in their late 20s now and back in the day teams kept their RBs longer because it wasn't this thing called FREE AGENCY ššššso if you were a good back they rode you in the dirt, but now you can plug and play , once you see signs of decline or if he cost too much ..outta here.
