This one is one of the hardest one to believe. Luffy being smart enough to sail his way back and forth without Nami for the beginning part And Luffy not wanting a chef (even if he himself learns how to cook) and not having Franky or even usopp to fix up the ship and not having Chopper would just be a death sentence for Luffy

Luffy doesnt care about killing people. I don't think he ever has, its just a lot easier to knock someone out over kill them when using your bare fists. He's not for killing completely innocent people, but that doesn't mean he's opposed to killing
