  • Keith, The last place on Youtube I expected to see a new tool was this channel. 😉😉😂 It is good news to learn someone is starting a new tool manufacturer in the USA.
  • @phlodel
I'd seen these grinders advertised and didn't give it a second glance. Now I know how capable it is, I want one!

The fact that AmeriBrade is providing a Baldor motor on their products tells you much about their integrity. Few, and I do mean few...products worth a hoot come with good high quality electric motors. USA made has a completely different outlook when you compare to the imported products we have been subjected to over the past 30 years. It simply makes much more sense to save up a little longer and get the good stuff made here in the USA and only the good stuff made here in the USA. That is one fine machine !
  • I see a lot of the knife makers put a bucket of water on the floor below the belt so that the grinding dust goes into the water so you have a lot less mess flying around the shop.
  • It’s always a great day in the workshop when it’s new toy day 😁👍🇦🇺
  • When you started pulling out the base I said "Welp! That's way out of my budget."
  • I love seeing a well designed machine/tool. A lot of effort went into the design. I love that the attachments store in the stand. Very clever and efficient. Thanks for sharing.
  • You will love it. 2 x 72 are great for every shop, wood, metal does not matter.

Looks like a great addition to the shop. Thanks for supporting American manufacturing and products whenever possible.
  • What an exemplary piece of kit! It sure was surreal watching you assemble a brand spanking new machine! Wow! Congratulations on your new awesomely extreme machine!

You have to get very very lucky to find a good old belt grinder. I was fortunate to stumble on a 2"x132" that was custom built by a knife maker. It's up there among my favorite tools.
  • As our far southern friends would say, “Fair Dincum piece of kit you have “ ! I first saw a “Square Wheel “ belt grinder as a 13 year old and decided it was the “Bomb!” Now at 72 I am still trying to justify such a versatile tool. Good on ya 😊
  • Never a bad thing when a new piece comes home Keith. Very nice and You van use it whitch is the best part. Right down to the fasteners supplied are heavy duth. Nice buy my friend. All, north American made too. Very well set up. I can see with your assembly I am more and more impressed with everything about this neat new toy. Sweet piece. I can se it being used every day.
  • Great narrative and video Keith. Looks to be well designed with quality parts. Wow, American made! Great addition to your shop. Thanks for sharing.

That's a great grinder setup! Nice job making an assembly video as well. You'll get a lot of use out of it.
