Perfect. Spot on , and yes Suga played the organ. Blood Sweat and Tears is about 'Temptation' and 'Loss of Innocence ' that all face during their youth. You see a bicycle, a sling shot, etc that are associated with youth. Also the maknae line( the younger members) are paired with a member from the hyung line( older brother line. You wiil see the doors in the background are one black and one white representing good and evil. Jin is staring at picture of spiritual warfare, the fall of angels from heaven. V represents Temptation a fallen angel who has lost his wings. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜p

You did well! Many don't get any part of it at first. Part of the inspiration is from the book Demian, by Hermann Hesse. It's a great read! They did so well with the acting. There are many details & other inspiration as well, but other ARMY will cover that in the comments I’m sure!

I watched BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS and BLACK SWAN. As an artist I was hooked then the deeper the dive the more I fell in love with their music. Now I'm a die hard fan.

Yes, as others have mentioned, you are correct that this is about growing up and losing your innocence. It's based on Carl Jung's theories, which were also brought forward in Hermann Hesse's Demain, as ARMYs have said. It goes beyond the usual dichotomy of "good and evil," though. The key part, for Jung and Hesse, is that you cannot become a fully realized adult person if you deny or suppress your dark side. In Judeo-Christian culture, we tend to believe that it's "bad" or "evil" to "fall" to temptation, and even Jung's mentor, Sigmund Freud, tried to teach people to suppress their violent or sexual urges (the "id"). But Jung broke off from Freud, and said that you have to acknowledge and accept your dark side; people who try to deny it and live their adult lives in a state of childlike innocence will develop mental problems. We see innocent Jin's face crack at the end; he is like the egg, that must crack to give birth to a dancing star. So we have to lose our innocence, because that's how you create life.

A short summary of Demian, by Hermann Hesse: Sinclair is a boy who discovers temptation and finally gives into temptation, losing his innocence with the help of a friend/mentor called Demian (all the members are paired - an older member with a younger member). He struggles with all the negativity/temptation and becomes obsessed with Demian and Demian's mother. He meets a pianist (who plays the song Suga is playing, I believe they play on an organ) and he tells Sinclair about Abraxas, a God of both good and evil, represented by the statue with wings. Sinclair accept Abraxas as good and bad must coexist in yourself. I am still not sure if Demian and his mom are real persons in the book or just a part of Sinclair. It ties back in with Jung's personality model, which is brought up many times in BTS albums... In the mv, Jin accepts Abraxas by kissing the statue and everything goes crazy- the colours mean something as well but I can't remember. The dance has a lot of covering eyes (shielding the innocents from seeing evil) and lots of moves where it looks like a member is controlling the others, leading them into chaos perhaps. In the end, the flowers in the vase change too in the reflection. Parts of the mv tie into the BU. The BU touches a lot on the theme of losing innocence, so maybe you would like it. In the end, Jin's face crack. "For a chick to be born, he must first break his entire world." So in order to live, the chick must first destroy his home that kept him safe and warm. In order for us to live, we must give into temptation and destroy our bubble of innocence.

There is an explanation video for this, which goes into many of the symbols used, but I think it missed the change of the painting to a mirror. You are extremely sensitive and observant - lovely. The song is based on Herman Hesse's novel, Damien, and is indeed about temptation and the loss of innocence.

You are so good and correct! You hit the nail on the head, as they say! Jin was the main character who was ins a conflict choosing between good and evil. The green syrup represents the evil and how all of them have given in to evil, wanting more!

Esta música em particular e todo o álbum usam uma infinidade de referências que apontam para um livro: “Demian” do escritor alemão Herman Hesse. Este livro conta a história de um menino chamado Emil Sinclair e sua infância durante a Primeira Guerra Mundial. Ele luta para encontrar seu novo autoconhecimento no mundo imoral e fica preso entre o bem e o mal. Já temos algumas pistas sobre o que é essa música/MV: a batalha entre o bem e o mal e a tentação. O vídeo abre com os integrantes em um museu; observe como todos os membros têm símbolos de inocência, como uma bicicleta ou um estilingue; Além disso, cada membro mais jovem é emparelhado com um membro mais velho, seu “mentor”, referindo-se a “Demian”. Também vemos penas flutuando e no chão (estar debaixo d'água). Então toda a imagem de Ícaro neste MV vem assim: estágio 1: Vemos JK no balanço, Ícaro vivo; estágio 2: V/Ícaro cai da varanda; fase 3: A pintura ao fundo (“Paisagem com a Queda de Ícaro”) prenuncia JK/Ícaro quando ele está flutuando/afogado (ele estando morto/debaixo d’água); estágio 3: a pintura atrás de JK (“The Lament for Icarus”) prenuncia V/Icarus sem asas, que é o estágio final. No final do MV vemos a versão antiga de Jin, aquela que era pura e inocente rachadura, não há caos nele e por isso ele não pode dar à luz a estrela dançante. Outras cenas que fortalecem ainda mais o tema geral do MV incluem 5:51, RM “bebendo” o veneno/tentação, 7:32, uma espécie de cenário de “Última Ceia” em que todos os membros têm uma maçã e um cálice, ambos sinais de tentação; 11:46, novamente, uma venda e uma maçã (fruto proibido) e assim por diante. É difícil explicar para pessoas que não vivenciaram sua evolução em tempo real, mas essa era foi uma reinicialização cultural COMPLETA para o BTS. Tudo o que eles fizeram antes disso tinha como tema "juventude"... primeiro com um tema de estudante e depois com uma coisa do tipo "meninos perdidos". De repente, eles nos atingiram com o álbum Wings, que representava a transição confusa e às vezes sombria para a idade adulta madura... e estava cheio de temas e visuais sobre tentação, pecado, etc. Este MV foi a primeira vez que realmente os vimos fazer "sexy" e ficamos SHOOK. Jimin (está lindo na jaqueta de veludo azul) servindo aquele ardor intenso nos primeiros compassos da música, jungkook (que todos nós pensávamos como um bebê antes disso) lambendo a cera de seu dedo, V todo sorridente e diabólico (especialmente em a performance ao vivo na premiação do MAMA 2016, que ai meu deus eu recomendo MUITO assistir)...
