There should be a charity shop at each of these dumps, where you could donate all the things, that could still be of use! Its actually insane to just throw out perfectly nice things, like that 😑
  • The only thing that i would have done with those manhole covers would have been to join them, power coat them, put glass on top,a fabulous wooden base and large metal wheels. What a coffee table. Jusf wowww. What he did with them them was beyond horrendous.

The item that Sarah and the young man didn't know what it was is called a gentleman's valet, shoes were on the bottom the suit was hung over the coat-hanger section, the tie and hat would be placed on the oval piece, what a find.
  • I love the creativity of this channel! Carry on and keep on inspiring!!!

I actually cried out when I saw perfectly good dishware and cannisters just being smashed in that dumpster....just because their owner didnt want them. Im sure someone just setting up housekeeping could have used them. Especially since money is tight today.
  • I'd forgotten I'd seen this one a long time ago, so it was a refresher watching it again!
  • @NAINIM
    I adore the chairs 💜💚💙
  • @PsulOrtiz
I would have put a glass top on the metal covers/tables--- to even out the irregular surface!
  • I must not be in style, the chairs were lovely and would be nice with a grey or tan covering, but purple and green. 😮😮
  • The best recycling plant that i saw was in East Hampton, NY. All large items were put under a large roof instead of a skip. The area was always empty and clean, because just as soon as someone put something there, someone else would collect it. Quite frankly to throw such lovely items in a skip is heartbreaking and wasteful.
  • Great show! There’s so much creativity involved & this craft people are extremely talented & skilled!! ❓I wonder why people can’t just offer up their old chairs, because someone can always use them, after a good clean, restoring them or transforming them into something different? ❓How is it possible that there isn’t a RECYCLING SECTION at this dump lot? Or an Artist supply lot for Art Students & Professional Artist to access & use??
  • Those man holecovers, just clean then, paint them a brass or copper color and they are perfect in someone's garden walk way or as a wonderful garden chair(s).
  • When is she coming to D.C? We don’t have a grandma here baking for us.
  • Saw this long ago. Remember Sarah trying to flog the suit stand without success.
  • I wonder how much money you would get for the manhole covers if they were taken for metal scraps?
  • I really liked everything except the chairs….very disappointed in his idea….I love him in the show The Repair Shop.
  • The light green paint on the chairs didn't work imo. All they needed was to be recovered too and bottom in a nice 50s print like Hawaiian pink flowers with green foliage in a heavy upholstery material.
  • Also - I’m shocked that the announcer said each month 800 Tons of material is dumped at this 1kocatiin😬😬😱😱!!!
