I can't help it, I love the lesser known Marvel characters, the more obscure teams, so the Hasbro Marvel Legends 5 Packs are usually right in my wheelhouse. This one even moreso, with it being X-Men related with the Reavers Pretty Boy, Marauders Vertigo, MLF Zero and Stryfe, and Random. Okay, I have my preferences and priorities, but I still like what I got.

  • I skipped to the end because I really wanted to see the full team of Reavers. I wasn’t disappointed. Now I’ll watch the whole video.
  • @CandGoods
I'm gonna get this set eventually, just waiting for the price to be right. I mostly want Pretty Boy and Stryfe. Wish Random was much larger though. They really ought to do an army-builder Reavers pack that is like muscular bodies in fatigue pants and tactical vests kitted out with cybernetics, with swappable heads, maybe explicitly make it Cole and Macon, but also include the Reese head again with improved paint, maybe other generic Reavers to beef up the ranks, many many firearms, some blast effects. That would be awesome, though Hasbro needs to do more production runs of other army builders too, it felt like those Skrulls didn't stick around for long.
  • As someone who just finished reading the original new mutants and just started reading X-Force I was really excited to see a figure of Stryfe
  • I can't believe they couldn't AT LEAST given Vertigo a unique hair sculpt.
  • @Choom89
That five o'clock shadow on Strife is what I'm talking about, great head sculpts like that make me want to pick up almost any character lol!
  • With Robo's love of all things Outback X-Men, that Zero portal would probably work well with to go with a (custom, for now?) Gateway figure.
  • @Sybato
Wouldn't be surprised if Vertigo used the exact same body as Blink, but without the accessories on it (loin cloth belt, choker, and boot cuffs).
  • I learned about Pretty Boy and the rest of the cyborg gang from the Punisher Arcade game from 1993, it was awesome to see them and even better when I saw some of them in the X-men TAS episode where they and Lady Death Strike ambushed Wolverine and the morlocks and fought that life abosrbing alien in the sewer
  • I know I'm not the first person to say this, but Pretty Boy's head looks like Bruce Campbell (specifically Army of Darkness era). So if somebody wanted to make a Marvel Legends scale Ash Williams, that head would be a good pick.
  • I've always interpreted Pretty Boys name as an ironic jab at the fact he only has his human head/face left so they call him "Pretty Boy" cause that's all hes got going for him even if he isn't actually that pretty
  • For me, this 5 pack was mainly about Stryfe and Random. The others are nice to have also
  • I have this set and until watching this, I'm actually more excited to open it because these figures are surprisingly good! Thanks for the review Robo!
  • Robo,, You are like father figure that I never had because I like having fun and playing with my figures and I do think this 5 pack looks dope but I wish Pretty Boy was a single release because I really don't need the other characters, Hopefully they just can re-release him by himself one day.
  • Good review! You can buy an extra Blue Marvel, take the blue vest and remove the white bits and put it on Pretty Boy. He will look closer to the comic.
  • It will always blow my mind when I see the Big Bang logo in your videos
  • I just got this 5-pack and i gotta say it is pretty cool! I have been pairing my Reavers with my GI Joe Dreadnoks and they really go great together! Awesome review/vid!✌️
  • Also a Southerner, so thanks for the dauber shout-out. Also, I always love your music jokes, so that was also fun on the Random section.
  • Thanks Robo. I picked this up for Stryfe and Zero, but I'm also happy with the others.
  • Thanks for giving me nightmare fuel with that wasp nest lol
  • Robo, you mack daddy! All the 90's goodness you could not help but to add back to this overview 😁 I have the same critique most do who know Random. He needed a bigger torso to be accurate he had the over muscled look popular at the time. I have the older release. You know parts better then I so the Sue storm and other reuse for Vertigo slipped right be me😉. Strife is definitely the pull for this set besides making a full Reavers crew with Pretty Boy. Zero I have about as much familiarity with and maybe I need to read up to appreciate his rendering. 60 years of X-Men foes and an ally in a box...glad you took the time to make a video 👍✌️
