  • I don’t watch fight videos unless the man talking to me has a thick English accent. Thanks, man.

I thought I was getting pretty good at hitting the heavy bag, after seeing this I realise that I probably looked like a novice lol, thanks coach, I'll be applying this at the gym tomorrow!
  • I know you’ve made many videos like this but I’m glad a coach like you gives a refresher to those that do it at home. I absolutely admire your training and I will admit, this helps me when I have no one instructing me. Thanks coach! 👍🏽

“Thems just crappy little arm shots” 😅 love it man thanks so much for the useful teachings and just being a genuine good dude while doing it

I always tried to envision the bag was a person moving, so as it's engaging I'm basically countering its momentum which has helped with my timing and confidence in sparring (being newer to Muay Thai). What Tony said is basically what I figured out works for me, I'm sure most people it's the same thing. It makes your bag work so much more useful.

M8, literally hurt my wrist doing this yesterday. I swear Youtube has mind readin technology.

I was working the heavy bag recently as best I could and indeed I felt the bag was controlling me. I can't wait to start turning these tips into habits. Tony has some great advice and delivers it in a great way. I'm subscribed!

What he said: "And you will look like a novice." What I heard: "And you will look like a nob."

Thanks for this Tony, I've been training the heavy bag for a few years without coaching and more so recently I've found my technique suffers because I end up chasing the bag with my punches. I never thought to approach my time on the bag like this. Nice one!
  • @thedrDraw
Great work Tony! I just started boxing and your videos are a big help. No more wrist pain after your wrap video and hopefully no more swinging heavy bags soon. Keep it up!
