  • Thanks so much for watching! I LOVE hearing from you all, and I read every comment, so let me know what you think, or any ideas you have for future videos, in the comments below!
  • @cmcferin
Would really like to hear about what different things like bearings, hardware, and others were super useful for you!
  • The way you used that pocket hole jig was actually painfull. If the drill is not the same size as the hole you feed it through to the wood, you don't have any benefit from the jig. and if it does have the same size, the drill will eat your jig, so you need a metal surface inside there. Good idea in principle, but this is a one use disposable tool if you use it right. And if you don't use it right, you don't have to use it at all, because it does nothing for you.
  • Yep! Would definately love to see your 3D Printing tool collection, keep up the great work! Also the bearing screws etc you have for just in case projects would be awsome too!
  • Is there anything worse than not being able to get a tool in time? Yes... waiting 14 hours for the printer to finish printing the tool you need, then realizing you didn't put high enough infill so you've got 18 more hours to wait for the stronger version to print and hope its strong enough. Lol. Still, nice video man, its true that it helps to be able to print tools that are hard to get.
  • @svorwerk
Awesome videos man, I really appreciate the time and effort you put into the presentation of your vids. I just wanted to cast my vote for the video about the tools you use to improve your workflow. Thank you so much!
  • Thanks for this! I was expecting the list to have maybe 3-4 useful tools out of the giant list, but you presented MANY useful tools. You also presented tools that weren't just specific to 3D printing, which is even better. I'd love to see integration of 3D prints with other building techniques, such as woodworking and working with metal. As an example, 3D printed bushings to work with steel square tubing, to permit rotation or telescoping designs that may require some mig welding, but that don't need lathe or mill work, because of 3D.

This topic is the reason I bought a 3D printer, I'm frustrated with suppliers not providing tools within a reasonable amount of time, over pricing, and missing design features.. I solved all of that by learning AutoCad and getting to know my printer. Thank you, it's people such as yourself that have helped me get to know the in's and out's of my printer.
  • I would love to hear more about all the extra components you have around for your projects or even what you have on hand to troubleshoot your printers. Thank you!
  • @odw32
For the bit holder: Try out carbon-fiber polycarbonate, it's slightly flexible but also very strong. It needs an abrasive-resistant nozzle, a well-maintained printer, in some cases a temperature-controller enclosure, a ~100c bed and a ~300c hotend. Your Prusa should be able to handle that though! It's definitely not my favorite material to print with, but it is my favorite in terms of end product properties. Another thing to try is to just make a "solid block" with slightly oversized hex-shaped holes in it, and put a strong neodymium strip embedded in the bottom to hold the bits in their holes. Absolutely loving your channel btw, and the clean look of your studio!
  • Love your channel! Thanks for all your hard work, it shows and it’s helpful
  • @bc4yt
Super keen for the extra components video. Tools would be interesting also 👍
  • i never need an excuse to spend money on 3D printing. bring on the tool list!
  • @pospa7075
Thank you so much for this video, I am beginner printer and I didnt know what to print, this video helped me a lot to decide what to print.
  • @wayne6318
So many projects, all of them are so useful and I can't wait to get started. The "Tool List" that you mentioned would be a great idea, hope to see it soon
  • @ily9718
An English speaking, Israeli, 3D printing content creator. Honestly kind of a rare sight. But glad to see 3D printing content from here though, and especially in English. Great production and content too. I have a bit too many printers and parts but frankly my organization surrounding them is a bit awful. I’ve been meaning to print a Gridfinity but it always seems like such a huge project.
  • @DEtchells
Another vote for a video on useful components(!) I’m all about having stock on hand so I have it when I need it, being able to just place one big Ali express order to get equipped would be great!
  • @billcs66
The 3d list of part you need would be great. Thank you
  • @xMikeyG
Honestly... Ive been on the fence about buying a 3D printer but never considered printing out tools. This for sure was the selling point.
