Hello everyone! Hope you enjoy today’s video🫶🏽 what do you think of club culture today?
  • @it52957
I feel that club culture is dying because no one can afford to go out anymore.
  • @princessxi19
I feel like a lot of culture is dying out in general... music, fashion, clubbing etc.
  • @pajeebruce5393
It’s the low vibrations. People don’t care to connect or be themselves. It’s a shame

i envy the people who were adults in the 2000's. you could tell they knew how to party hard! people weren't standing and being on their phones, the music back then were pure party bangers! life was good too unlike today
  • @artxroyalty
I realized this was a problem when I went and saw them busting out TikTok dances on the dancefloor. WRAP IT UP!

I feel that club culture is dying due to smart phones and the social media we have. People can’t let loose due to fear of being recorded and uploaded online. Also, it’s not viewed as “cool” to sweat your hair out like we used to in the club. Younger adults have this “main character “ persona and feel that they are “above” dancing. Dancing was what the club used to be for, it created the “vibes” that these young adults look for now. Oh well, glad I got to enjoy it through the golden years (2000s)

hiphop is such a danceable genre (like No Hands) yet clubs always play the slower, low-key, mellow bangers like CMON!!!!!

Clubbing is boring in todays world, majority of the time I go it’s wack music. people go to post on their story then they usually leave after 20 mins (where I’m from anyways). I’ve had fun nights where I enjoyed the club but I go again and it’s back to trash DJ‘s. Why are we listening to a club mix of perfect by Ed Sheeran??? I wanna hear Beyoncé, Nelly, Britney, Aaliyah, Rhianna, play all the girlies. I want to have fun not be sad.
  • Hey idk if you know but better help has been exposed a lot recently for some flagrant shit. Not saying you didn’t do your research but please make sure these people are legit before promoting them to your audience

Club culture didn’t die, it’s just translated to loft and house parties. Our generation don’t really look to nightclubs, they look to whoever is hosting the hottest party in town and here, there are no sections, no expensive bottles, not too many limitations. It’s forcing everyone to be around everyone and it can all be done more affordably and freely. You can control the music with a playlist so thus, you have better music and you get more people to dance. You can bring your own bottles which is less expensive. You don’t have any struggles actually getting in with a crazy fee when they’re typically free or 15 dollars at max. You can bring your own weed. You can center your party around anything like a pool so now you can have any attraction that can get people to be more interactive with the party or get people to dress uniquely. It’s just more up to our speed than the club though I still love the atmosphere of nightclubs and if it’s popping, I’ll go, dance and drink.
  • Babe my highschool dances seem to have better songs, more dance space, more diverse and new or old songs, and more people are dancing and looking insane and we're cheering that insane dancing on
  • @ms.tinygiant
The EDM community has pushed through more than clubbing. People want to go to shows and festivals, not go to clubs with the same music they hear on the radio and people aren’t “PLUR”
  • @whycyrus0
This is so interesting because in South Africa club culture is massive with the most popular music genre in the country (Amapiano) being played most commonly in clubs
  • @ioveyy
Absolutely love your takes, and i strongly agree!! Nowadays it's like people just go clubbing to stare at each other, NOT DANCE???, take pictures, smoke hooka, drink alc and things all to post on ig and say "we had a timeeee last nighttt" Like i wanna party like it's the 80's and y'all wanna do everything for the gram. Come onnnnn 😭😭

I’m an older millennial, approaching 40 and I said this about the club almost 10 years ago. People were so triggered when I said it. I caught the tail end of the truly fun clubbing years in my 20s. I remember leaving places soaking in sweat from dancing so hard. It really started to die with the advent of smart phones
  • @db_howard
Ngl I be bone dry in the club and still breaking it down, my trick is just closing my eyes until I feel comfortable in my own skin
  • @molly4561
this is why gay clubs/lesbian clubs are superior (in my experience) less wall huggers, less creepy men, BETTER MUSIC the list goes onnnnn
