I swear being an England fan will be the death of me one day with all the tension and anxiety you feel, all the ups and downs, embarrassments, controversy, near misses and semi triumphs. It is a complete rollercoaster but that's why we love the game of football.

I'm not a fan of Pickford but the boy stood up to be counted when it mattered. Kudos. Henderson just looked massively nervous. I remember Giggs doing keepy upeeys on his way to take a shootout pen against Southampton 30 years ago...he missed too.

Was watching this sat outside the Pantheon in Rome via the restaurant TVs. Sooooo many Colombians were sat around and me and my girlfriend seemed to be the only English people. Even the Italian waiters were supporting Colombia. It was a funny atmosphere. When we won we celebrated with Ice Cream and a nice walk to the Trevi Fountain.

Watching this in a hotel at a seaside town bordering Germany/Poland. I was the only England fan there, mostly Germans were supporting Colombia. What a night! Pickford you beautiful being 😃

Soy argentino, recuerdo estar en la oficina con algunos compañeros de trabajo, ya justo terminando nuestra hora laboral. Todos alrededor de una notebook viendo los penales, lo vivimos como los de nuestra selección, claramente apoyando a Colombia. Qué bronca que hayan errado el penal después de la atajada de Ospina, era clave animicamente.
