Today, I'm sharing my favorite picture books for the younger preschool years. Kinderleben is such a special time to instill the love of books with your Charlotte Mason Year 0 student. There are so many wonderful living books for the younger years, but today I'm sharing my favorites. Some of these are from Ambleside Online Year 0, some are ones that I read as a child, and some are just gems that have been recommended by various sources.

    Thanks for sharing these and your synopsis of them! I have missed reading some of them to my children but I think I will go back and make a list and get the ones we missed to read through this year. I’d love more for different ages/grades as well. Your twaddle definition made so much more sense to me than other I’ve heard over the years.

    Loved this. Thank you for doing it. I have found that when you read good, living picture books even my 10 year olds come and listen or will read them on their own.

    Amazon TV streams a "Snowy Day" mini movie. It is absolutely precious, my kids love it.
