Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to intervene to resolve a tug-of-war between CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya after the latter’s remarks that “the party organisation is bigger than the government and nobody is bigger than the organisation” led to speculation of a rift. In this edition of #PurePolitics Shanker Arnimesh explains what this means for the UP BJP and why removing Yogi as chief minister is a big challenge for the party.

general public is with Yogi, in All India

If Yogi is removed , that is the end of BJP in UP and certain other states as well. This Maurya , Kiriya all are chamchas and have no any consciousness like Yogi in BJP politics. If Yogi is shifted from UP , then he should be assigned as the Deputy Prime MInister of India.

My comment--Hindus never be united, illustration is old Indian history .

If BJP/Modi/RSS wanted to make a real social revolutionary statement with the Ram Mandir, they would have appointed a Dalit female as the head priest. With an all-female priest panel, representing all sections of Indian society. That would have been an earthquake, a true shake-up. A proper message about new India, and the place of the subaltern and women in new India. Instead they went with an all Brahmin priest panel. Why should the subaltern support that? An opportunity for a clean break squandered.
  • For hindus Yogi is more respected than Modi. Yogi is very straight forward and for law and order we need Yogi as a CM in UP.
  • Despite all the political posturing or severe speculation it is going to be status quo for now. The results of the bypolls for 10 assembly seats will lead to rejig within the organisation, government and the political direction of the party in the most crucial state.
  • Below par analysis- yogi’s importance is because of his popularity and not his being a “sant”. In assembly elections people especially Dalits will vote against Akhilesh because of his goonda Raj which hurts Dalits the most.
  • YoGi Garu.. Modi Garu and amitsha Garu cant touch your Cm post why means.. Rss leaders need your help in feature and rss leaders will make you as pm for India
