I love what they did with the giant astronaut suit representing the guilt

Sci-fi, hints of horror, drama, and a subtle romance? This film hit all my faves. Loved it!

I really didn’t need to cry this morning

Awesome!!! and that transition 3:32...
-
I remember this artstyle! By any chance is this the same artist who created the short with the swimmers? Love it btw

THANK YOU FOR NOT KILLING THE LESBIANS

Should I feel bad for loving how she never got over her? There was no specific resolution to the plot and it really left you wondering where they left you off. Those colors and the song really set the mood and I felt...there. God, this is why I love Gobelins so mUCH

This was phenomenal! My compliments to everyone on the team. What a terrific piece!!! And yes, the transitions were spectacular. An excellent portrait of psychological distress, brought to life with top notch animation, sound and design. Bravo.

I really like the storytelling. It caught me by surprise!

I love how they’re diverse and draw people with real bodies

every time i rewatch this i cry, it's mind blowingly beautiful and heart rending! this is by far my favorite film of the year, and maybe of all time. i especially love the use of color. i think magenta represents sonia's love for her girlfriend. when they're talking in the flashback, the entire scene is magenta-pink, but in other scenes on the space station, it's generally a colder, more clinical teal. sonia herself is less colorful except for the magenta on her shirt where her chest and heart are. it especially stands out so bright in the scenes where she's being chased by the manifestation of her guilt and grief. i could also go on and on for ages about the composition and perspective, creative transitions, character design, art style, and especially the beautiful, eerie, cathartic music that just speaks to your soul. i see no flaws in this, it's simply perfection

Ok I have to get this off my chest. That blonde dude is kind of a jerk. Don’t get me wrong, it’s obvious he cares, but Jesus Christ why the hell did he push her in the antigravity thing? He knows she’s all messed up about her girlfriend being put in a coma like state, and her experiencing antigravity is obviously gonna make her have an episode/flashback. I just think it’s messed up that he did that.

i love the colouring and how there's a specific shade or tint to a scene

Really deep from the theme of animation to the ending music. Acceptance is a way to free from the past or forgive yourself. That's the lesson, I think ... things that happened and can not control are not our fault. So protagonist make a complex ( fear)from that accident, she can not forgive herself and be free to a new tommorow. Really beautiful, I appreciate the efort and passion of this artists.

Huge “2001: A Space Odyssey” inspiration

This perfectly encapsulates what it's likr to have trauma, I love it

For some reason this reminded me of Gris, a fantastic game that can be considered art. Maybe because it's because their themes are slightly alike. If you're into gaming and have a few bucks/hours to spare go look it up on steam, because Gris is a fantastic experience that everyone who's into arts should go through.

The entire short has a smooth atmosphere, from the colors, to the movement, to the soundtrack and the transitions... It really gives and "out of orbit" vibe, a small conflict and huge feelings, all inside the calmness of space. Loved it.

I just feel really happy for the guy who's going to Morpheus!
