I honestly think peopl forget how crucial John Green was for the formation of the internet in general like not just how he was such a pillar and creator of Tumblr culture, but one of the firsts to use the internet to democratize (?) education with Crash Course, AND co-founding VIDCON! this man pioneered tumblr and YouTube and even if the platforms have changed a lot since then, people forget this man was quietly in the forefront of the formation of these platforms into what they were during their biggest most formative years.. idc like give him and hank a medal or smth
