6:47 - there are some compounds and supplements that have been researched for their potential to influence myostatin activity, though more research is needed to confirm their effectiveness and safety in humans. These include: 1. Folic Acid: Some studies suggest folic acid might influence myostatin expression, but the mechanism is not fully understood. 2. Vitamin D: Research suggests that vitamin D deficiency might be associated with increased myostatin levels, but further research is needed to confirm this link and its potential impact on muscle growth. 3. Creatine: While not directly targeting myostatin, creatine is a popular supplement known to enhance muscle mass and strength. It may indirectly influence myostatin by promoting muscle protein synthesis and anabolic processes. 4. Beta-Alanine: This amino acid can improve muscle endurance and may indirectly affect myostatin through its role in enhancing training capacity and overall muscle health. 5. Alpha-GPC: This compound has shown potential in animal studies to reduce myostatin levels, but human research is limited.

Two hours of work out....1 ribeye and 4 eggs. Feeling great.
  • As a construction worker, I see the ultimate benefit of longevity and am constantly working toward that so that I do not wear out before my due date. So that I can enjoy some type of life after retirement I’m happy to learn of these things like c15, NMN, resveratrol, TMG. Debunking the stigma around consuming eggs, what vitamins to take and their functions, what minerals to take and their functions, hormonal balance. And I just wanna thank you Tom. You really enriched my life with all this knowledge. And I tried to spread the word as much as I can to those who would listen.

Eating 10 eggs when I saw this video. Great timing. Can't imagine life without eggs. Medicine.
  • Totally agree that how you look affects your self-esteem and healthy habits! As I count down the weeks until I turn 56 later this year, I am motivating myself to look younger again, because right now my self-confidence is in the dumps. I have been struggling to GAIN weight back in my face and torso, without it going to my belly first. So based on advice from Thomas and others, I've been eating more protein and getting in a daily workout, even if it's just 15-20 minutes sometimes. And I know that after I finally rejoin the gym this month after 4 years of home workouts, that will motivate and help me even more. I used to be a real gym fanatic, in part because comparing myself to others there motivated me more.💪

The less you move, the faster you die.

It's not mentioned that, in studies, follistatin has been identified in the yolks of FERTILIZED avian eggs and NOT in the eggs of unfertilized eggs. So, unfertilized grocery store eggs would be ineffective.

When I met you at the manitou incline you gave me the advice of getting a tan, I listened and have spent a lot of effort this year getting proper sun exposure on my whole body each week.

This is precious information ! Sounds like you all have been hanging around Dr. Lyon a lot, haha ;) Let me share some thing, for whatever it may be worth and of course it is purely anecdotal. I am 63 maybe 64, let me go check ;) and I eat only real food because I want to be real. You know how sometimes when you walk into a store you see this yellow sign on the floor and it says, "caution slippery when wet" ? Well, I didn't need to think that I had to pay attention to that sign while wearing rubber muck boots, so I walked into that store and slipped and fell on my right hip. I looked to my left and I saw both feet above my head. I fell with such a force I thought to myself, "i'm gonna be hurt bad", but I snapped back to my feet faster then I fell, probably mostly out of embarrassment. I had numerous people coming up to me, including store employees, asking me if I was OK. Not the kind of attention I like. The next day I was a little sore, but I recovered fine. And then in my 30s I fell from 9 feet flat on my back! I thought I was going to die! I thought I was paralyzed, I tried to get up , but I couldn't move, I had the wind knocked out of me & thought I was suffocating to death! It lasted maybe a minute or two, but seemed a lot longer. I eventually got up on my feet, check myself out, and learned my lesson. I'm a Timex, I take a licking and keep on ticking ! And then, while in military boot camp back in the 1970s, twice a week we would get "duck" for lunch, we would line up with our food trays in front of the chow hall, walk in , they would put food on our trays, then we would walk over to garbage cans dump all our food in it & get back out in formation and finish out the day. I hated duck then , but today I practice it regularly & can probably out run Thomas to keep his grips off of me haha ;) I love your guest shows ! Suggestion for a guest ? Greta of Advanced Nutrition & Health ?

pulled a back muscle 2 weeks ago in a little motorcycle accident, fighting to get my body moving again, not fun working out with pain but if you can get through it you will feel better and get healthy faster - better to avoid injuries in the first place but doing things we enjoy can cause them, that's life
  • Why are some in the field of giving out health - not optimizing what they are preaching or are they? Can looks be deceiving? 🤔 Outwardly Thomas DeLauer looks like he epitomizes it, sadly Dr. Bob Hariri does not, but his message is truly welcoming. So on that score - thank you for uploading and sharing.
  • Does your guest have any affiliation with the ‘Egg Board or Egg Industry” This is important for your viewers to know. ‘Thank you love your channel’
  • 21:50: Carnivores when satiated rest a lot (parasympathetic), and when hungry (nearer to ketosis) need motivation/focus (sympathetic) to hunt.

The self picture doesn't have to be visual. I think even if you compete in the occasional half-marathon or walk up a huge mountain can make you preserve that positive self picture.
  • Without coming right out to say it, The Doc asks....."What is the secret of SOILANT GREEN?"!!! 😔
