I’m getting Switch 2 day 1 as I want to be there for the entire generation as my only regret with the current Switch is that I didn’t get it sooner.

The said it in a tweet themselves that the June Direct was the one that wouldn’t mention the switch successor, and since every September had always a direct on, we’ll likely see a reveal then and the release somewhere in March or April 2025

Sony and Microsoft better be taking notes, Nintendo's taking their time and making sure the console launch is done right. By contrast the other two were sloppy and rushed the consoles out at a disastrous time. With developers struggling to make games for the system, while Nintendo has at least two ready to go for the launch year and likely alot more than that.

With Monster Hunter Rise having been a switch exclusive, Im wondering if the switch 2 announcement may include Monster Hunter Wilds, so people can play the new game on the go. Id also love a new 3D Zelda game.

If these companies cared AT ALL about their customers they could easily implement a buying model such as Valve did with the Steam Deck or EVGA did with GPUs. The fact is, they love supply/demand problems to increase hype for a short time at least, and then they trickle out consoles when they see fit.
