The 2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8, the 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe, and the 2010 Mazda RX-8 all share one big thing in common - they can be scooped up for about $10,000. But more than price, they share the lovely joy of being naturally aspirated, rear-wheel drive coupes with a manual transmission. Each car presents its own strengths and delicacies, but if you had $10,000 to spend, which of these three would be your choice? Thomas and James spend some time deliberating over which they like most. We hope you enjoy the episode. And then subscribe, silly.

Huge thank you to @mjantzimedia for making their Genesis available to us
And to Clarkson Fine Cars for their G35 and RX-8 www.clarksonfinecars.com/

"I respect your pronouns, but I dont respect you as a person." These intros. 🤣
  • @dammyo6010
At one point in my life, I wanted each of these three cars. Now I'm a 40 year old man, and I daily a 20 year old Jaguar XK8 convertible that I bought for 10 grand. So my budget stayed the same, but my tolerance for maintenance nightmares is higher!

They are all nice cars, but RX8 takes my heart. I drove one once, and that rotary engine is something else in ICE world.

As a old guy who had a crush for g35 and Nissan 350z I was blessed from a friend who sold the g35 for $500 because he didn’t know how to fix valve covers and control arms. 158k miles and alive and well being in one of dream car as a teen brings my heart and nostalgia out and now the g is my project car!

Dang dude that Gen Z impression is spot on

Thank you Throttle House, for still appealing to your core fan base. In which you know cannot afford most of the cars you review. Content like this makes people like me, with a lower end car, not feel so bad about owning one. Cheers!
  • I picked up a Genesis Coupe 3.8 for 3K. It needed 3K in parts which I did myself. It only had 100k on it. Best 6,000$ car ever.

I had a 2004 G35 coupe in my mid 20s back 15 years ago and it was the best single dude bachelor pad cool guy car ever. loved it, sounded great, decently quick, girls loved it. the nostalgia ahhhh.

5:19 The splitscreen Subway Surfers part was gold 😂
  • @Evora86
As a former RX-8 owner, this video brings back the feels...Most fun car I ever had. 88k kms no issues, real rotary owners know that "a redline a day keeps the carbon away"

Love these types of reviews. It’s easier to see myself in any of these cars than in a 6-figure vehicle. Also, brilliantly funny bits from start to end.
  • This video is a breath of fresh air. Some of us aren’t rich or don’t like debts, but still want to have fun behind the wheel.
  • @Vicstruction
The intro and subway surfers parts are too funny 😂
  • @yyyyyyyeeeessss
I bought a 2013 Genesis Coupe Track 3.8 with the auto transmission and it was my first big purchase! I still own it to this day!
  • @thanosob3329
There's nothing I love more, than this type of videos. Lambos and ferraris are fun, but the videos on cars accessible to the public are gold P.S.: The intro itself is gold 😅
  • @jamesryanwigley
One of the reasons the G35 doesn’t look dated is that half the switches are still being used in the 2024 Z
  • @jasonlo6710
So much feels. Owned a 03 fully loaded 6MT black on black back in the days. Agreed with everything they’ve said, the mods i got were pretty much wheels, suspension, exhaust, intake, plenum spacer, and a short shifter. Best luxury sports coupe of its time.

Yes yes yes. A 10 year and older sporty car review series / segment is awesome. One of my favorite vids yet. Reminds me a little bit of Matt Farah’s older one take vids. More of this please!
