That Welsh dresser is a magnificent piece, as is the dining table. Two marvelous pieces that you are lucky to have. There's no point is reconstructing the original built in cabinet until your flush enough. Even then it may not be worth doing with such a great dresser. My grandfather made a smaller version of both for as a wedding gift for my elder brother in pine, which is a common furniture wood in Ontario, where we live. My grandfather's retirement hobby was making pine furniture that my uncle would sell in his furniture store. He specialized in making historical reproductions of early 19th century furniture. I am lucky to have the waltnut nesting tables he made my grandmother as a wedding present. You and Billy are living the lives I would love to have had. Thanks to you both for allowing me to travel the path not taken vicariously.

What a treat, both content and music wise. No surprise, will it be, if Mary Poppins flies in for a cup of tea - once the Spode is unpacked. I love that dresser, and the grandfather clock! So pretty.

When I was a child every Sunday evening we couldn’t wait to sit down and watch “The Wonderful World of Disney”.I remember the intro music how beautiful it was and the feeling that one would get because you knew something wonderful was about to begin. Then Walt Disney would appear sitting by his desk to explain what we were about to see and it truly was wonderful, it never disappointed. That is the feeling I get when YOUR wonderful videos appear on my screen. Thank you Michael. That was pure magic! Don’t make us wait too long to see the unboxing of the Spode. I know it will be Wonderful!
