  • Aw come on Scott, you got these collectors editions! That’s not budget gaming!
  • @Nerdtendo6366
Time to watch a video debating over 2 products I will never purchase in my life
  • @beestings22
Scott with a blank white wall behind him: “Wow this map poster is useless!”
  • What you do with the collectors coin is you take it to the store and say "one Zelda please" and they'll just give you a Zelda.

The killer thing that the collector’s edition for ToTK should’ve included was a mini soundtrack for the game. We still need an official soundtrack release, even though it will likely be a CD-only Japan-exclusive release.
  • @starsuper64
Age of Calamity also had a collector's edition but only existed in japan The big item for anyone who's curious is a giant blanket in the shape of the glider

Europe's Special edition didn't come with the Switch case or the map but it DID have the soundtrack CD, in a proper jewel case, and the Master Sword statue.
  • I just wish collector's editions had soundtrack cds again. Those were my favorite to get from the bundle.

I feel like the Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition is more premium but the Breath of the Wild Collector's Edition is more useful with that carrying case.

I can imagine a Nintendo representative watching this video and just loosing it. "The steel book does not have the original art that was beautiful, i dont like it" "The steel poster just have the box art, it's a shame" Its impossible to fully satisfy Scott. XD

I'll tell you what you do with that collector's coin. You press that coin into the palm of your eldest son. Then you kneel down, place your hands on his shoulders, and look him square in the eye and say: "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this."

The slap at 2:06 sounds so close to the Switch snap it's amazing
  • @LittleBeanGreen
The fact that the boxes aren't the same size makes me want to eat my own face.
  • I'm probably the only person on earth that enjoys steelbooks. Idk it just feel premium to me but a lot times they don't compete with the good old case and box art.
  • @bronco5591
This made me realize I want STW episodes on interior case art and disc art

I still use my Sheikah slate case to this day. A bit of the blue detailing on the sheikah eye started separating, but a bit of super glue fixed it right up. On some level, I regret not keeping it mint, but when I moved to Oregon for undergrad, the TSA destroyed the original box by cutting the bottom out...

Steelbooks work better for movies where the spines all tend to have different designs anyways
  • @mitchbakarich
That BOTW soundtrack works super well on a walk or hike. Makes you feel like you're on your own quest in the game
  • @BenWillock
Coin stands exist :) Edit: Having said that, coins that aren't replicating a real in-game currency or item are lame. The two coins I have on display are a Gold Septim from Skyrim and the Platinum Chip from Fallout NV. They should have made a Rupee instead.

Just a fun fact, I used to buy collectors editions specifically for the sound CDs to maybe by some chance play in the car. Before I had my own car and license when BOTW first came out (I was like 14) I used to occasionally play this CD during car rides with my mother 💀 guardian theme went crazy on the road
