BTS usually has behind the scenes pieces for all their music videos. Might be fun to always do the two videos back to back as a Videographer, the official video then the making of. Spoiler: the explosion was real and they had to dance without flinching when it went off.

This MV changed my life. I became an instant fan. I thought “OK, I’ll watch anything these guys do for the rest of my life.” Have not had a single regret since. The explosion was real. In the background video, you’ll see that they did a first one so the members could hear how loud it was, so they would not react on the second one during the take. These guys are truly special. Enjoy this ride, I know you will.

I saw you with Antony and I'm glad he convinced you to see BTS! You won't regret it! And you have to pay attention to the lyrics, they are very important for the wonderful messages sent to the fans. The nicest thing is to see the smiles of those who hear a song by our guys for the first time. Our wonderful boys know how to sing, they are funny, they know how to dance, they are modest, polite, beautiful people with hearts full of love. But all this succes means a lot of work, passion and dedication! Enjoy the show and we look forward to seeing you more often to discover the world of BTS!💜💜💜

YES! There was a really big ass bomb in the background ... and it exploded right on the beat! Magnificent!!!! Thanks for your review, and appreciation. Aren't they wonderful! We love OT7!!!

8:30 you were impressed by the camera moving 90 and showing another person, but not at the fact that nobody (camera, operator, others) except JK as visible in that mirror behind him. Since this video's been out, and all the people reacting to it, only 1 person that i saw caught that great editing. 6:30 Also, layering here is great, Suga normal speed rapping, JK/Jimin in the back being thrown back in slow-mo 8:55 the explosion and fire are real, not layered, the falling flaming bodies are layered in Their video production quality is off the charts

Hello sir, that EXPLOSION IS REAL They like to use PRACTICAL EFFECTS mostly. There are behind the scenes youtube videos where they show how they did it. BORAHAE!
  • It is 7 in the group! I will flood discord later to "introduce" you to each member 🇰🇷💜 #ARMY str
  • BTS as a group has about 350 songs. Most they wrote themselves with some collaborations on others. All have songs that are copyrighted by (KOMCA) Korea  Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) with RM (218), SUGA (167), and J-Hope (137) having the most. There is overlay because they work on tracks together too and also have songs in Japanese. Add another 55 tracks for their individual projects in the last 10 months and you can see the size of their discography catalog. This is not counting a few mixed tapes, collaborations on other artists’ catalogs, albums, or webtoon sound tracks. They pretty much sing all genres (multiple genres in most songs) except for opera or American country music. It’s literally unfair and naïve to judge their music on a handful of songs, as you will see if you continue down the BTS rabbit hold. Have fun!

Production production production that's what these men are best at
  • Yes!! I'm here for this 💜 thank you to Anthony for bringing you over to the purple side, and thank you for being open to listening to them, enjoying your journey!

Black swan ❤😊absolutely must watch music video next😂

BTS tries to do more practical effects than CGI, there are exceptions like DNA and Idol, but sometimes that’s deliberate as a clap back to haters. Funny when you said they spared no expense, back in the day they did very heart tugging videos but staff had to be extras and they had to borrow things like cars because they didn’t have a lot of money to make their videos. It definitely helped advance their creativity

Seriously, I’m so gratified watching your reactions to Mic Drop that it’s almost like I created the MV myself 😂. This was and remains one of my favourite BTS MVs … it was written by RM (the leader) as a response to all the haters over the years. They’ve said in interviews that they don’t intend to create another similar song in the future because of all the negative emotions, which just makes it more real 🔥
  • @Nmiller4486
Oh 1st time to bts? You sir are going to love them, they have so much variety in their music. Such a humble group of guys as well, hope to see more of you reacting to bts. It will be a fun ride💜💜💜💜
  • There is a Making of video for this MV. That bomb wasn’t a composite. They actually blew up the car behind BTS. They (BTS) had to brace themselves so they wouldn’t jump or flinch when it happened because they only got 1 take. P.S. the haters falling from the sky while on fire however, were probably not actually doing that in the shot.

fyi 1 of the inspiration for the song was rm watching president obama's speech to congress & national press club where he dropped the mic at the end of his speech.
  • @deathdrop1
I became a member of the ARMY with this video. I'm a 73 year old great grandma. Some one may have already commented this was done to address their haters. Even though they are currently fulfilling the mandatory South Korean military obligation at this time, they have said they would regroup sometime in 2025.
  • @RowanRJ73
This song is basically an FU to all their early haters and saying they don't see any haters anymore.
