I still watched this despite knowing all these settings. I love the way Canon keep the same menu formats and colour schemes from very early cameras right through to the R7 and I’m sure beyond.
  • This is such a breath of fresh air! I have watched Jared's R7 tutorial and I thought to myself... what possibly could Tony teach that Jared did not and you literally wrote a book about a book. Every single thing you talk about from a completely different angle in which jungle of settings suddenly make all the sense in the world. Thank you so very much for taking time to share this tutorial.
  • @nurseveronica
I just shared this tutorial with my cousin who just purchased the R7. Your tutorials are the absolute best! Thanks a million🤩
  • @jremi

  • After many long months debating which Canon camera I should purchase as an upgrade to my old but trusty Canon Rebel SL1, I decided on the EOS R7. Thanks for the excellent review Tony! I know I made the right decision 😊
  • Wow! I sat through this entire video in one sitting. Very well paced, explained and broken down. Thank you so much for taking the time to go through all of this! Liked, subbed and can’t wait for more updates from you! I’m very thankful I came across your channel!

Thanks, just got this as my first mirrorless after upgrading from an 80d. Your tutorial was great for starting with it out of the box.
  • @aligndesign
Thanks so much for this essential tutorial! Nothing like seeing what you're talking about to thoroughly understand the settings. Appreciating the professional and clear example animations.

Thank you very much for taking the time to put this video out. I can not tell you how helpful it is to my wife and I.
  • Breaking into this space as a technical person picking up an R7. This is exactly what I'm looking for before digging into that thousand page manual! I'm half sold on moving to Connecticut, these videos are so detailed! Looking forward to getting set up with y'all's advice.
  • I used to watch your channel religiously years ago when I began photography. I’ve since moved on to videography. My friend is a photographer and does it as a hobby. When I started a photography business, he invited me to do events with him while I was getting experience. I always had the idea that I would become the best and highest paid photographer in my area, but I didn’t realize, until my friend and I finished an event, put a couple drinks down and began talking about our frustrations. He was very disrespectful to me in front of people but he apologized when I brought it up. But then he told me that his frustration was that I was turning his hobby into a business. I understood. We agreed to be respectful in the future and to also keep in mind that for him, it will always be a hobby. I have a degree in business so naturally everything I’m involved in, I’m trying to make money. I’ve done very well since then as a videographer. He still does photography as a hobby. We’re still friends!
