Can we all acknowledge how kind that final statement was. We all need to consciously recognize everyone from the homeless person to a millionaire are their own main character in this world
  • Swooze the type of dude to be gone for 6 months, and come back spitting facts

Here's the thing though, I LOVE being other people's supporting character. I love being the mentor, the friend, the love interest, w/e. I enjoy helping and seeing other people succeed. Realizing I'm a side character in someone else's 'Hero's Journey' is incredibly fulfilling to me. Don't get me wrong, there are times when I will totally take on that main character role for myself, but those moments don't last or mean as much as the time spent being someone else's 'guy in the chair'. It's scary to be in the spotlight, but it's great to feel needed and to see the aid you've given others raise them up to their own success.
  • Man I don't know how swoozie does it, I think he's one of the only content creators I still watch from my teenage years. I think its the fact that he uploads so little that you never get the chance to grow out of his content, either way he's doing sumn right
  • The way my jaw dropped when he made the Aquarius joke is baffling

Always make yourself the main character of your life but never try to make yourself the main character of other people's lives. We should all be supporting roles/background roles in each other's lives imo
  • Fr made me realize how I'm a type 3 from what you said earlier in the video, can help cut that out my life and start being selfless not selfish, thanks, I never really thought I was the center of the universe but it ended up just being the energy I brought as well. Crazy for the 2 videos in 1 month btw, you still cookin fire too 🔥 🔥

It's always a good day, when Swoozie uploads a video
  • I love that every video he makes always inspires people to be better and teaches a little lesson at the end.

Thank you Swoozie for trying to teach actual VALUES to your audience!🙌I appreciate the wisdom and way you present your stories in a relatable way, but at the same time also passive-aggressively use your personal situations as examples so hopefully your friends get the hint and try to become better people as well😆You're a genius. It's a win-win situation.👌

Two Swoozie vids in the same month?! God what did we do to deserve this blessing?! lol. Great vid as always. Imma make sure I go sing in the rain today for my main character music video.

Your social intelligence is top tier. I wish I could have seen your videos sooner. I got wrecked by being homeschooled and put into private programs until pretty much highschool. People didn't know what to do with me, I was genuinely innocent and sincere. It was like open season. I managed to get through, but man, I'm still encountering instances where I really wish I knew someone/had a friend like you.

This got me thinking of Mob Psycho’s whole message of “be the protagonist of your life” and “your life is your own” and all that. Great video as always!!

I agree with that closing statement 100%. The way I see it, we're all just the main characters of our own shows, in this big streaming service we call life, and every show falls under a unique genre. Keep other people in mind, and don't expect everybody to think the same way you do.
  • It really gives a good perspective of how other people are living their lives. I need to get more on my main character stuff. Great video Swoozie! Keep em coming!👏👏

I feel like the whole, "be yourself" mentality has seeped in a little too dip in our society. To the point of selfishness, narcissism, and overall lack of support for others. People are too mixed up in their own, "main quest" where they will refuse to help anyone with the excuse that, "they will just figure it out themselves." We aren't built like that. I'm what some would classify as a loner but even I understand the intrinsic value of a sense of "togetherness." It's goddamn isolating sometimes when everyone around you could care less about your problems and care only about themselves. Oftentimes when I am in a public space where everyone is just on their phone ignoring each other; I get the strong desire for everyone to just talk to one another and get along. I know I'm not the only one who has that feeling.

I can't just watch your videos in passing, I have to sit down, get comfortable, and enjoy every minute because I know it's gonna be good!
  • Great timing on this video. Occasionally, especially recently, I catch myself redirecting conversational subjects back to something about me, usually when it's happened a few days in a row. I stop to think, "Hmm, is this an innocuous coincidence that I'm reminded of my various life experiences so much recently, or am I missing some sort of stimulation?" - I haven't actually fully figured it out yet; probably a bit of both. But I do make an active effort to curb that type of behavior. The person I try to be is someone who is capable in their own right and supports others where and when I'm able.
