    And despite the Mariners imploding against the Angels again, they're still technically on top of the division! The bad news is that Texas is gaining on both Houston and Seattle, and they may overtake them both when August comes around. France is gone, but that doesn't change anything as the Mariners bullpen crumbles and loses a 1-0 lead! It'll be a while before Los Bomberos live up to their name again; another ugly scene in Seattle has the fans one day closer to the removal of Scott and Jerry!

    Absolutely awful from the Mariners today. I would make the excuse that JP and Julio were out injured but it’s been all season- so little run support for this top tier rotation. If I was Bryce Miller I’d be fuming at the offence, not just for today, but for all season.
