When our town burned down 4 years ago, we are about 12 miles from Chico up the hill.. Aaron helped rebuild the town and our schools, our Gyms, and Football Stadiums for the kids.. I am a lifelong Lions Fan, but I will always tip my cap to Rodgers, and Thank Him for helping us.

What a story. I didn't realize what a tough road he navigated. High school freshman at just 5'3". Wow.

As a "shorter" athlete in high school I always wished for an Aaron Rodgers growth spurt lol. It really is amazing how he continued to develop

Arguably the best passing qb of all time and a packers legend forever
  • “Good morning grandpa.” Greatest line ever made by Aaron Rodgers ever.

As a 49ers fan, I always wondered how successful they would have been with Rodgers instead of Smith. Eventually the Niners collected plenty of talent, but while Smith was definitely talented, he probably suffered from poor coaching. Someone like Rodgers would have been a strong leader who would have basically coached the offense himself.

This is probably the BEST video I have ever seen on Aaron Rogers. Good job!!!

A few tidbits to add... Butte was not the only school he reached out to. He reached out to at least one more JC who said no, they had a good qb. Butte was absolutely dominant even prior to Rodgers, infact that team also had a NFL TE and multiple future D1 players. It was obvious from (even before) game one that Rodgers was really good. His reputation in the area proceeded him. The NorCal JC system (at least at that time) was really good, and was home to a ton of future D1 and nfl players.

I grew up in Kansas and at the time there were a bunch of small community colleges with amazing teams. In Dodge City Community College there were over 10 football players already attached to Universities. The fact was that they didn't have good enough grades to go to a university. Reynaldo and Donald Hill
  • GB has had its share of talented players on the offensive side of the ball…wide receivers, running backs, tight ends, the O-Line and so on. It is hard to win without all of the right parts but I say it’s almost impossible w/o a good QB. Packers would not have the legacy or championships without Farve and Rogers. He is one of the all time greats for the QB position and I love his story. This was a well done piece.
  • I’m a massive bears fan but jesus, he is the greatest but unluckiest qb of all time lmao

Cool thing, is before the camp fire (I left Cali when the fire hit), Chico had a sign that would say, “Welcome to Chico home of Aaron Rodgers”. Don’t know if that’s common knowledge or not. But, I always thought that was cool.
  • Vikings fan here. Prime AR12 (circa 2009-2017) was the most unbelievable QB ive ever seen play the game. He was must watch TV and was always a concern until the very last second of the game. He was a damn magician at the damndist times. I still cannot believe the 2015 Richard Rodgers throw. If my money was on the line, I would take my chances with the 2014 Packers to beat any given team in the history of football. Aaron has been far more entertaining to watch over the years than the likes of Brady or Manning. Those two drop back and make the same three or four throws all game, not entertaining at all. I wish Aaron the best and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the real AR12 on Pat McAfee's show the last few years.
  • Packers' fans got two of the best arms to ever play back-to-back. It's been like 30 years of greatness or something.
  • @ewik551
I went to Cal. When Rogers faced that big USC game, he completed his first 20 passes in a row.

You chose a bad day to post this 😆 🤣

Watching this video makes you wonder how many potential sports legends have been passed up and never given a chance at all.
  • 13:38 This just had his season ended but but it's funny shot of him being carried like that through the Vikings cheerleaders!
