U guys are still debating that stuff? MJ made the universe fall in love with the game. The man retired and is still the standard that all others are compared to. People are still fighting for Jordans in 2024
  • It’s been 25 years since Michael Jordan retired (1999-2024) & he’s STILL labeled the GOAT, STILL selling more merch than any player everrrrr
  • @jms53777
Aside from the 6 Rings, 6 Finals MVP's, 5 season MVP's, 10 scoring titles, 1 DPOY, Jordan is still: - Most exciting player to ever touch a basketball - Best hand skills ever seen - Best footwork ever seen - Most creative offensive skills ever - Most graceful and pleasing player to watch - Best midrange game ever seen The world has regarded Jordan the GOAT for 25 years for all these and many more reasons
  • @DSuelo
You forgot: • Underdog and undersized • NCAA Champion (game winning shot) • Made Nike into what it is today • Made the NBA explode internationally • Three-peats, took a break to play baseball, then came back and won three in a row again.
  • I dont believe Michael Jordan got any of his coaches fired. You can add that to the list.

I've read somewhere on Social Media, someone says. "When you’re the greatest they’ll tell stories about your greatness!!! The others will promote themselves" This one hits hard!
  • @ddslice
ADD: - Never Lost to a team he was favored to beat in the finals - Won DPOY (and scoring title) as a guard - Played with fewer HOFers than others in GOAT conversation - Better season leading in block shots and steals in same season - Won DPOY, Slam dunk comp, All-Star MVP, League MVP, Championship series MVP and NBA title in same season - Many other accolades not mentioned here
  • @ProFited87
MJ won the scoring title, led the league in steals, and won DPOY in the same year. Best two way player ever
  • @mikemccarty3618
Huge MJ fan and always thought the 6-0 was overblown. BUT thinking about it again, it is very impressive to never lose after 6 trips and never a game 7. I never really realized how crazy that actually is

    I’m not taking LeBron knowing this stat LeBron 21 years/ 1 scoring title MJ: 15 years/ 10 scoring titlezzzz 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I just can’t
  • @TheRealSilk
Reason #1: When LeBron was a free agent in 2010 he said "I want to be the greatest of all time, and that means having more championships than Mike" and he left Cleveland to chase championships. If he wanted to chase longevity and stats to be the GOAT, he could have stayed in Cleveland his entire career and achieved that. LeBron set the bar that the goal was rings, and MJ still has more rings.
  • @allentrias1433
MJ actually is 11-0 in Finals 6-0 NBA Finals 2-0 Fiba World 2-0 Olympics 1-0 NCAA
  • Nike had conditions before giving MJ a contract. Either be rookie of the year, or average 20 points per game, or be an all star, or sell $4 mill worth of shoes in a year. Jordan was rookie of the year, scored 28.2 points per game, named all star, and nike sold $100mil of shoes in 1984-85. Greatest for a reason....Everything MJ accomplished in life was Gold...His Mindset was untouchable
  • crazy how people say jordan needed pippen. let's give 'em that. if that's the logic, then lebron needed wade, bosh, irving, love and davis and what? still 4 and 6 in the finals? not a hater. just using logic
  • @brandonchoo9764
Never forget that many players in the 80's era mention that they have to sleep early and mentally prepare when playing against the bulls. Thats how scary it is. They also mention that if you dont bring your A game, the bulls will eat you live.
  • @zsp1117
“The Pistons were old when MJ beat em” IT was 29, Dumars was 27, Aguirre was 31, Rodman was 29. That’s a lie common amongst Bronsexuals. And stop telling me about how Bron had to face the Spurs and the Warriors as his competition when Bron lost to them more than he’s won. Bron is 1-2 vs the Spurs in the finals and he is 1-3 vs the Warriors in the finals.
  • @mallyinmind
“Man, I told you about bringing that up” - Shannon Sharpe 😭🤣
  • @user-zr4ew6vx8b
the energy of Stephen A. everytime he's going to discuss who's the GOAT or defend MJ as the GOAT is unmatched! he's like an excited kid resiting his favorite poem infront of everybody 😁
  • @Wholesome_Hoops
6 finals, 6 wins.... THAT'S THE STANDARD required to dethrone Jordan. When a player outdoes that .... gladly give them their flowers. Until then.... this is the standard.
