As per a new poll, US Vice President Kamala Harris has taken the lead over Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in the US elections. The poll suggests that 44% of the voters support VP Harris, while 42% of them support Trump. Harris' small but significant lead in the poll has a lot to tell about the voters' sentiment. Just a few days ago, Trump was leading in the US polls and the assassination attempt on him had further strengthened his support base. At the Republican National Convention, he was unanimously nominated as Republican Party's presidential candidate. This was followed by US President Joe Biden's exit from the 2024 presidential race.
Up until here, Trump was maintaining a comfortable lead, however, Harris' entry into the White House race has seemingly shifted the election dynamics. Support for VP Kamala Harris is growing, funds are flowing in and top Democrats are endorsing her. In a bid to slow down Harris, Trump's campaign has filed a complaint against her campaign funds. Pay attention to the swing state votes not national. No one is going to change their votes over Harris. The same people voting for Biden will vote for Harris and anyone voting for Trump will still vote for Trump.
