Bro is straight up dropping foreshadowing to real life lore
  • @UdnesSimen
Anyone watching this after the Iranian attack?
  • Remember that everyone attacking at once is very unlikely because everyone in the Middle East is surrounded by enemies and can't afford to commit too much offensively.

A Historian, somewhere : "I swear, this shit practically writes itself

I respect you more than you know for NEVER editorializing or choosing sides. This is the most objective breakdown in existence

The use of animated maps made this extremely easy to follow and understand! Thank you RLL team! <3
  • How complicated are geopolitics in the Middle East? Real life lore: yes

I like how he just uses the civ 6 nuclear icons and oil barrels.
  • @jameso8468
Looks like we get to see how accurate this is

that chess analogy might be the most brilliant thing I've ever seen from this channel

I usually try to avoid news about the Middle East. The major news outlets most often concentrate on the violence and less on the context. More on the suffering and the emotional trauma than on the reasons. It is still a difficult subject to watch. But thank you RLL for another solid presentation that is full of context and meaning. In spite of the unavoidable feeling of hopelessness in the situation, I at least now am up to speed on why it all exists as it does. Good job!

I simply love this channel. It feels to me like it matured with its audience. It went from cool random facts when we were teenagers, to complicated yet fascinating geopolitical analyses as we're young adults. Bravo sir 👏
