From what I gather, you research extensively to give all the βGrimmβ details and accurate facts to iconic filming locations, along with witty humor, and even empathy towards loved ones when showing grave sites. Interesting fact. The original puppet for the library ghost was considered too scary and wound up being used in Fright Night instead. You guys are always so insightful!

One of my most favorite movies growing up as a teenager. Has a very special meaning of going to see when it first came out with my best friend growning up that now is passed away in the last few years.

Thank you for the video!!! π As a teenager I used to work at the LA Public Library back in the early 80s! Good old memories! I remember that fire!! I remember a library coworker telling me that a "night shift security guard" at the library quit his job because he saw a library book cart move by itself and heard strange noises at night! And this happened before the filming of the movie!

I like the detail work in the book shelves if you look closer you can see the art put in them. Nothing beats the original library setting . I remember the green light bankers lamps they would have at the table.

Looks like those card catalogs were originally separated into four and on legs so they could have that hallway of them on the right. These are likely the originals that were used in the movie. Great find!!!

When I was young, I enjoyed watching Ghost Busters cartoons and animations, and the movie was fun, especially because the green slime monster was so cute, but it was interesting to see the shooting site of Ghost Busters again Thank you for introducing us to "Ghost Busters"

Absolutely one of my all time favorite movies. I saw it in the theater the first Saturday it was out. The day before, I went with my after school group to see Gremlins! A memorable weekend, indeed. When the library ghost morphed into the banshee looking thing, everyone in the theater jumped, but then started laughing hysterically at the Ghostbusters' reaction to it! From that moment on, I loved the film! It's one of those movies that always makes you feel better after watching it.

Love it. I remember using card index system (card catalog) growing up. Just a little FYI... the knob under handle of the CIS is the rod that ran through the drawer that held index cards in place. Another awesome video. Happy Halloween!
