That was a pretty good review! You pointed out all the main strengths and weaknesses I felt the movie had too. It was a really fun ride with tons of great References and Action, but the pace was way too breakneck and the pop culture songs just grated on me. Not stuff to ruin the experience tho, so I’d say 7/10 is fair.

Did you hear they announced a sequel to the Mario Movie? That’s really exciting. Hope they listen to the criticism and try ironing out the first movie’s flaws. Then again, after how successful the 1st movie was, I can see them just doing the same thing again, unfortunately.

I saw the movie last Sunday with my family. The movie was so awesome and epic I cannot wait to see Puss in Boots: the Last Wish (I enjoy it so much and especially Puss and Kitty lovely moments) Pls do GOTG movies after The Owl House ending like you did with the Mario movie with clips and tralier I recommend using the clips and tralier so you don't get copyright from youtube

I’m finally watching this cause I remembered to after watching it in class and I really wish, really really wish, that there were more scenes with Mario and Luigi working together. They should’ve been separated after a siege of the kingdom maybe and Bowser mistakes him for Mario.. other than that the characters were surprisingly nice and it was a very gorgeous movie to watch that to me felt smooth with the story connecting with human and ‘video game’ Mario.

It’s been kind of hinted that there will be a Luigi’s haunted mansion based sequel to this movie, as there is a haunted place in the beginning that isn’t bowser’s castle. Though don’t get your hopes up people

Carrietootired I don’t get your complaint about the colors in this movie, I think they look fine, I think argument is a little nip icky,not saying you can’t point out a flaw but the way you explain it just did not felt right and just felt off to me.
