To have the feeling of belonging or feel yourself home, doesn't mean you have to change appearance. Finding the like mind people and a culture you connect with is actually good, healthy and must be motivated but you don't have to go such drastic changes and begin a downward spiral.

I'm half filipino and half Singaporean , I love japan and philippines but that don't mean i'll change myself to be someone i'm not. I should be happy for who I am and how God made me.I don't need to be someone im not even if i'm not filipino or japanese i can still go tk those countries and learn to speak the language .

I'm an Indian but I love the whole Chinese culture. The food, the people, the language. Everything about it is so amazing and beautiful. But, that doesn't mean I will change myself to Chinese in order to love the culture. I do love both Chinese and Indian culture ❤️❤️
