Just packing for my holidays, drinking beer, dancing around room to beautiful Django Reinhardt music. How good it is to be alive!

My grandfather (who, among other professions, was a session pianist and played with a bunch of popular jazz musicians throughout the 40s and 50s), listened to Django Reinhardt growing up and introduced the music to my dad, who introduced the music to me. I'm probably not going to have kids, but when I have nieces or nephews, I'll make sure they hear this.

The music adds so much depth to the video, perfectly aligning with the visuals. It’s a testament to excellent curation and enhances the overall narrative, making it an unforgettable watch that stays with you.
  • My granddad's favourite music.... I still play it when I visit his grave ever year, what a star!

I love listening to this while doing my homework. Finishing up my second undergraduate degree, I find this music keeps me pumped up without the distractions other styles of music have.
  • I always wanted to listening to Django Reinhardt, in a bubble bath, and just close my eyes......because WHO'S YOUR DADDY? JAZZ IS YOUR DADDY !
  • this is the music we all need now in thees days... feeling and skills..

Incredible!!! I loved since since ever and all musicians that played with him were just amazing! Way to learn from them each time!
  • @Disques13Swing
The sax player was Alix Combelle, Europe's best jazz sax player of the 30's & 40's

Starej pán sedí a poslouchá jazz a zdá se mu jako by to bylo dnes. Jako by zase u baru stál a na pódiu Django hrál.
  • More magic from the maestro. I have greatest respect for anyone who overcomes any sort of physical handicap, but Django almost re-invented the wheel with his adopted style. Brilliant!
