New Machine Day! | Setup & Testing | RapidBlast™ SD140 Dustless Blaster

Publicado 2023-12-21
We have finally upgraded our sandblasting setup to a dustless blaster system! In this video we are setting up and testing out our new RapidBlast SD140 Dustless Blaster. This system is designed and built in Australia and combined with a Japanese built Airman PDS185 compressor this thing is absolutely awesome. We show how to get it set up and test it out by blasting a D10 bulldozer equalizer bar before performing a Dye penetrant crack test on the bar. We are extremely happy with this new setup, excited for the range of services we will be able to offer our customers and can’t wait to use it on our Franna crane project!

Been watching CEE for the past few years. This is up there with my favorite videos. I know it’s a pain in Kurtis’s A** to explain the details but Karen’s editing skills and both your time do not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you both do!
  • I would like to thank Kurtis and Karen in behalf of all your dedicated followers for enlightening and educating all of us who look forward to your videos in this remarkable industry . Cutting Edge Engineering Australia Congratulations, this is really going to step up your game. Thank-you for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
  • I love that you are really excited to be able to offer new services and expand your capabilities. And you want to do it the right way and not the lazy way. A consummate professional with pride in himself, skills, and equipment.

You guys ever seen a dry ice blaster? I watched a guy clean oil residue and brake dust off a truck. It was so cool to watch. The dry ice freezes the residue, and it immediately flakes off! It would be a great one man business.
  • Noice, having a little dig at companies who don't deliver or care about their business. We don't know who they are but I am sure the company will know who they are! Merry Christmas and I hope you enjoy your break!

That opening monologue from Curtis was mammoth, just going from his usual efforts to string 3 words together, this must have started Tuesday and finished late Thursday.
  • @YourMUMY
i know its hard work but its like a dream with big toys. its fasanating to watch you grow
  • I like how you just keep upping your game with tools and implements so that you don't have to contract-out any work and have it possibly not meet your standards........quality is key, thanks for being a decent human being.
  • @gordonagent7037
Man, it’s just so awesome to be able to watch an Aussie company so well accepted as being a quality outfit, both in the quality of the work carried out….that would be you Kurtis, and for the video quality…..that would be you Karen. Bloody proud of you both, so cool to see your business thriving and able to expand. Have a great Xmas guys.

I'm excited to see the Frenna crane get sandblasted. I absolutely love sandblasting. It's so satisfying and thorough.
  • Amazes me that any company would ignore you. You have a wide viewership and are very good at explaining, crediting and demonstrating your equipment.
  • @hgbugalou
Oh man, you could do a whole second channel just sand blasted things. That is very satisfying.
  • @virgo2999
Caught this video within 4 minutes and it already has more than 1k views!! Congratualations and thanks for uploading.
  • @jeremyf1901
CEE is the perfect showcase of focused hard work with goals always pays off. In the US where I grew up, people always told me hard work pays off. Now I say it’s hard work with goals in a specific direction. It was cool to hear you talk about the companies goals today too.

Another outstanding video. Kurtis has clearly done his homework on this unit, explaining the features of the unit, the strength of the organization behind the unit, availability of spares, and the high quality. Not only can he use the unit in situ, he can also pop it on a truck and send it out for mobile sandblasting. Well done!
