Old South Dog Boxes

These guys build the best dog boxes I’ve seen!

I was looking around for a company that made dog boxes that would fit in my Side by Side and couldn’t find anything.

I got in touch with Old South Dog Boxes and they are able to make custom builds!

They are building me a dog box that will fit exactly what I need.

They make a diverse range of dog boxes, dog trailers, and bird rigs for bird hunters.

Check them out and let them know that Brett from Born 100 Years Too Late sent you!

Skito Saddle Pads

I was in the market for a new saddle pad after my old one wore out.

Agnes, my riding mule, has a bad back and it makes a big difference to have a good saddle pad.

Ellis Canvas Tents

I reached out to Ellis Canvas Tents because I was just not too happy with my sleep system. I had seen their products before and was really impressed with the "Cowboy Bedroll". They sent me one to try and can say that so far it is the best I have used for Cowboy Camping.

Soon I hope I can get one of their Canvas Tents

Mountain Ridge Gear

I have been using Mountain Ridge Gear for many years now. From their Saddle Bags, Horn Bags and all the accessories I haven't found anything yet that is as well thought out and functional as their gear. Now I have a pair of their pack panniers and love them

  • I hope everyone understands the $50,000.00 is kind of a joke .. but it is something to shoot for Thanks For Watching oh and subscribe I always forget to ask lol
  • @kandes49
With the gentleness and restraint you show your animals it isn’t surprising they turn out to be such good partners. Really impressive!
  • The good mules I had no one could buy, no one could buy my best hat either.
  • Bret, you are spot on. With a mule the first thing one has to develop is their trust of you. When I first acquired Sam and Sadie (Belgian draft mules), though fully broke and well trained, they were standoffish and stiff, so to speak. But when I finally earned their trust they became an amazing team that loved to work. I got into some real predicaments on the steep hillsides here in Missouri and they were rock solid safe, totally surefooted, and smart. It was a real pleasure working with them.
  • I can see where you been around the mule and just talking to the camera and how the mules reacting I sometimes wonder if the mule thinks you're talking to her and if so I think that helps a lot. I'm glad you're making this video. I don't know a damn thing about horses or mules but I know it don't hurt for me to learn how to train one because one day I may need to if we have to go back to riding mules and horses you're training me too LOL, yep you're training me too.
  • It's a pleasure watching you work with your Mule, Looks like she will work great!🤠
  • She stands really well. Just don't get in a big hurry. Patience is a virtue!
  • You are a GREAT storyteller. I really enjoy your channel.
  • Hi Brett , Maybe you are the MULE WHISPERER. Hopefully you and Bonnie will get along well. Safe Travels. 😊
  • @Capt._John

I've got some of Brad Cameron videos on how to train mules little tricks. They're really good videos. I don't know whether he has DVDs now but I have the video form . He's the son of Dell. Cameron that used to write in Christian full cry magazine so blue tick hounds .

My mule Bart, loved to go out with me alone, BUT, if he got left behind, he'd battle ram the short wall on the stall until he knocked it down. $1.99 cent mule lol (just kidding). Love these videos where you're way out in the middle of nowhere.

If anyone ever has a mule bond with them, they will never forget it. Smart, willing and dependable. And once they bond with you, they want to go somewhere and do things. Incredible animals, thanks, Bret!
  • @Hooch454
My cousin compares a mule to being more like a big dog than a horse. After owning for 10 years I think my cousin is right.
  • @gregferre4318
I had a mule I broke that snorted, showed the whites of his eyes, kicked, bucked, ran away with me, you name it he tried it. Had friends bet me I couldn’t break him. I had him 7 years. After I got him broke you could shoot off him, haul anything on him, ride him anywhere, but I still just had a bronc that you could ride😂 The moral of my story is that you might as well spend all the time on a good one that’s been imprinted and likes to be with you. That mule was just hard to love. But I enjoyed the challenge. Even won a team roping on him once. Anyway I enjoy your videos 👍
