It's been just over 1 year since Greater Anglia's New Class 755 FLIRT trains entered service on regional routes across East Anglia. Draavo and I headed to Marks Tey to go and ride on one of them down the Gainsborough line to Sudbury.

1. 38 bi-mode multiple units (14 3-car, 24 4-car) were built by Stadler between 2018-2020 for Greater Anglia
2. This comes as apart of Greater Anglia's plan to replace all of their rolling stock. The Class 755s will be accompanied by the Class 745 and 720s on the network.
3. They have replaced the Class 37 Short Sets, Class 153 and 156 Super Sprinters, and Class 170 Turbostars.
4. They run on Greater Anglia's regional routes, as well as the Gainsborough line as it is not electrified.
5. There is only one door per carriage and a Power Pack car can be found at the middle of the train.
