It's the first vacation since selling our busy guest house and Keith and Tracey are grateful to be able to relax and not have to work right up to leaving for the airport! Therefore, travel day starts calmer than usual as we have plenty of time to pack and get ready before heading to Heathrow Airport (LHR) for our 16:05 Virgin Atlantic flight to Tampa (TPA).
We use the Meet and Greet parking service at Heathrow Terminal 3 and, once checked-in and through security, we browse around the duty free shops for a while.
We have lunch in The Curator before heading to our gate.
The flight goes smoothly but we all feel tired due to the later time of the flight as well as the slightly longer journey time into Tampa.
We get and Uber to Walt Disney World's Pop Century Resort and find her his a per to arriving so late in the evening as the concierge/check-in area is very quiet. We requested to be in the 80's/90's area and appreciate the theming as we head to our rooms for a quick room tour before calling it a - very long - day!

We are Keith, Tracey, Luke, and Daisy. We have been going on family vacations to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida for over 17 years. We have stayed on International Drive, Universal Resorts, and several Walt Disney World Resorts and became Disney Vacation Club members in 2022. When not in Florida we run an accommodation business and support Luke’s motor racing adventures in the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship. As someone who lives in the States, not too far from Orlando, I can’t even IMAGINE how expensive a trip like this would be for a family coming all the way from another country!! We’d be saving up for years!!

You know what would set that shirt off Keith? A nice pair of shorts. Maybe some that you could wear in the water and look good on dry land too. Not sure they exist which is a shame 😊

What an unexpected and delightful surprise seeing this vlog pop up today on my feed. Cant wait to follow along and see what adventures you lot get up to.
