Iwata definitely has the best atomization of any gun. Totally agree
  • @jimprovax6846
Hey hey Brian. Thanks for taking us along. The job turned out awesome. Appreciate the time you take and all the tricks and tips.
  • @bankyankinlive
Just got my ws400 series 2 and I absolutely love it ....... by far the best gun I've ever used for clear
  • @dandee28
used this gun for the first time today and it atomizes really nicely. Such a beautiful finish. I usually use x5500 for the past 4 years but this is something else!
  • @eviljoker303
Actually, these guns are perfect for novice painters.Much better than SataJets which can be water hoses if not used correctly.I found my Iwata guns to be very beginner friendly. In fact all my guns now are pretty much all Iwatas .Great video as always .
  • @Sid-07
Ive been using the series 1 since they've been out, heard all sorts about these guns! I've never had a problem with them. Beautiful guns i dont use anything other except iwata
  • @Revsnuts666
I must say just got the LS400 and the WS400 series 2 last week and have not used them yet, always loved the Devilbess Gti's but had to get them after watching your videos about them so next week going give a try and hopefully be my to be gun from now on. Like the videos. 👍
  • @jeremyoetken2094
I bought these from the UK when they first came out. They are great spray guns!
  • Nada podria salir mal en sus manos amigo es usted un excelente conocedor del tema, a hecho excelentes aplicaciones con pistolas baratas, que esperamos con esta de Ășltima tecnologĂa
  • Heres what I think, Iwata should pay you to go and teach the other painters how to use this gun, many bad reviews and dont know how to properly use this gun.
  • I live in Orlando, and I have the ws400 clear and ws400 blue obs for solvent base For a year now. And the technical specifications of the 3 models, were taught to me by an iwata technician in Europe.
  • @RoguePainter
See you like the series 2 guns. I did tell you that you would when we got them in the UK. I still prefer the DV1 basecoat gun but nothing touches the Iwata series 2 clear gun for me.

Shame we didn’t get the metal pots over here you like guys have.

Keep up the good work on the videos :-)
  • @rbuswell
Great video! I am confused by your warning to not buy these guns if a DIY, novice painter though. It sounds like these guns will save a lot of time, headaches and give consistent, superior results. Doesn't it make sense to buy the best gun and invest the learning curve into the ultimate gun you will end up with anyway? Given the high cost of materials, shouldn't we strive for the best result from the beginning?
  • @jamesfell4793
The first editions of the digital guns that came out in the uk had faulty gun body coatings. They started to peal off but I think the issue has been resolved and iwata replaced faulty guns. Just something to look out for
  • thanks. at last you made a review about this gun. i already have that last year. i used to my bumper and seen to the same youre telling now. i had taht in clear and base guns from immingham. its really great gun. need only to know how to use it. its really smooth to look spray results..
  • @Speakingdatruth
So interesting your perspective on the Series 2. I know TheGunMan speaks poorly of them saying they are a pain in the ass to dial in. But tbh, he is negative with almost any spray gun that is not a GTI Prolite.

I am torn between a Sata 5500 1.3I or a Iwata w400 Bellaria for my clear gun.

You mentioned about clear being piled on around the edges and I see that a lot when some technicians spray a super high european 2:1 solid clears with a Sata RP gun. The Sata's with that O Pattern just loves to pile on clear.

I am geared more toward restoration/custom work so I am trying to achieve that super flat finish.

I am definitely going to look more into the WS400 series 2 gun for clear now. I just hear soo many mix reviews.

    Thanks Brian
