  • Watching a knowledgeable person fall in love with Tool, is one of the most satisfying things on earth.
  • @TheDjpressha
you will not upset many Tool fans by going back and listening to parts several times. i would hazard a guess to say that every Tool fan has done that several times. thanks and keep it up!
  • @shawnm2113
This is the first time anyone has ever said the word “golly” whilst listening to Tool 😂 Just found your channel and I love that you’re reviewing Tool.
  • This is like showing a friend your favorite music but they love it and want to talk about it.
  • @Fanucules
"I wanna hear it again." Words which everyone that has enjoyed Tool's music have spoken at least once before.
  • You're worried because your attention is drifting away from the singing. We, on the other hand, enjoy seeing how much fun you have listening. :-) We understand that - we love this masterpiece too!
  • @Rusthate101
I love that you make the same "Stank face" i make when I'm lost in Maynard's voice. it is bliss.
  • @InUnbiasedEyes
Wow. Who knew seeing a beautiful stranger fall in love with Tool would bring me some tears of joy. Thank you.
  • @CAGE497
If you thought that scream was intense , wait till you hear the song the Grudge he belts it out for 27 to 29 seconds . Will amaze you the breath control . Great reaction by the way .
  • @CarterZero1
Maynard is a ship sailing in the middle of a storm. So much going on around him but still steadily marches thru the song. Amazing band.
  • @mikelatimer
You have no idea how rewarding it is to hear you react to The Pot!
  • The funky vibes on this song are amazing. For me, Justin's bass lines in this song are just perfection.

Her little snarl and facial features are amazing 😂 I wish I could experience tool for the first time again

The magic of Tool is that Maynard lays the vocals to the songs after the instrumental portion of the song is already played and that is how the songs are created. It really is two separate pieces like you mentioned. I've been listening to Tool since like 1991 and it has been the musical journey that I appreciate more than any other band I've ever listened to.

wether you like their music or not, you have to admit on a technical level their music is the musical equivalent of rocket science once you roll vocal, instrumentals and subtle lyrical meanings, soul and feeling, its not just a "song" listen to this or any tool music in a dark room with closed eyes and it will for sure take you on a journey. pure genius

I love her genuine smile, and the fact that she seems to really be enjoying a band that I love personally. ALSO! How insightful she is! I’m really hoping nobody told her this, but she was able to decipher how intentional TOOL is with ensuring that each instrument is as equally heard, as the vocals are! She is absolutely brilliant! I hope that Maynard has seen her reactions to his art. I know he would appreciate it.
  • Maynard intentionally does not put himself in front, especially in the mix. Everyone is equally important in Tool. They really are an amazing talent the likes of which we won't see for a long long time.
  • You absolutely MUST hear him do Orestes live with A Perfect Circle. His vocals are breathtaking.

The way she say's "I'm going to listen to it again" then gleefully presses the back button like she's just helping herself to another chocolate from the box. Like she is saying "I shouldn't indulge, but i cant help myself." Love it :) Anything Maynard touches from his other bands A Perfect Circle or Puscifer is just absolutely brilliant. You'll need to listen to Culling Voices on their latest album for those vocals. Personally, my favourite vocals from Maynard are on the 'Pushit - Live' track from their Salival album. It's goosebumporama. Link To Pushit Live - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgDwkSlCwHw
  • The growling sound in the middle is actually a bass solo of sorts. Justin (bassist) uses distortion and a whammy pedal to get the effect. Source: I play bass in a Tool tribute. Also, thank you for specifically mentioning the bass line at the intro, we bassist need all the support we can get!
