Modders on Nexus suffer still from a perpetual inability to explain their mods and installation processes for the layman. A shame, since many people are getting into RPGs through this game. Hopefully this kind of stuffy elitism in the community will end. YOUR video, however, is not an example. Thank you for providing a clear and concise explanation!

I know you probably wont read this but thanks to you I did it. Im terrible with cpu's but with your tutorial I managed to do it. I kept thinking in my head as it loaded that it was not gonna work and i messed something up but when i got to customization with the mods i loaded it actually worked and my heart started aching because all the stress I was feeling was fading. THANK YOU SO MUCH! SUBBED!

Here's something fun. If you manually install the script extender, confuse yourself, then install it automatically using the Mod Manager, you will get two notices of it on the title screen.

Hoping this is what I need to get some basic mods. Of course, if I’m not doing the same mods you are, it’ll have a different load order… not sure how one discovers what the correct load order is for the stuff they want to use, but I’ll… just read the descriptions and comments on all the mods, lol. Thanks for the step-by-step stuff, regardless!

I am facing the problem that some Mods won't be imnported, allthough they are listed as active. On some i get this yellow message "No Mods imported. Does the file contain a .pak?" What does that mean? Are those Mods no longer working with patch5 ?

Thanks! Newcommer to bg3 ans the genre here. The mod system is always Hard to understand in all games at the start for me so I will test tomorrow if this works for me. I have been having problems today, so I cross my fingers for tomorrow :)
